Ajax smiled a little before waiting for her answer. He held back a laugh at what she said. "That would be MY party. I was talking about YOURS." He grinned, laughing. "Okay okay I'm soooorrry for making fun of your lack of friends. Maybe Goose Rooster and I could crash your party and you wouldn't be lonely anymore!" He smiled sweetly.

"I was talking about mine, you bum!" Mercy laughed, partially offended. She swatted at him gently, rolling her eyes and cuddling up to him. "I would like that. Maybe just Goose and Rooster though, you're being mean to me." She muttered, pressing her face into his chest quietly.

Ajax snorted with laughter at her exclamation. Mission accomplished- she didn't seem nervous anymore. Well, it would come back, but right now she seemed fine. "Okay, well, Goose and Rooster will crash your party and I will take a nap. Deal?" He said with a grin, gently kissing the top of her head. "Aren't I aaaalllways mean to you?"

"Deal." Mercy muttered against his chest, keeping her arms wrapped around him. The tension eased from her shoulders as he dropped a kiss on her head, and she relaxed into him quietly for a moment. "Yes. You're so evil to me all the time." She pouted, looking up at him with a fake-frown.

Ajax chuckled slightly, pleased that she was relaxing. She seemed so uptight, and she shouldn't be. It was getting later in the day, so unless Mercy wasn't completely joking about Rooster and Goose, then he was going to make supper and not sleep tonight because he was way to jittery about the next day. Sounded like a plan to him. "All the time." He repeated dramatically, smiling back at her.

The drama will be so dramatic xD))

Mercy offered him a sweet grin at his words, letting out a soft laugh. "I love you. I can't wait to get married." She quipped lightly, cuddling up to him afterward. "What do you want to do for dinner tonight?" She asked lightly, gently setting her head against his chest to listen to his heart beat.

(I think Ajax's heart beat is permanently beating to Back in Black XD)

"I love you toooo." Ajax grinned, glancing slowly over at the fridge. "Well, I was thinking food, but I guess we could try something else." He teased with a slight eyeroll. "Whatever you want to eat, if it includes some kind of meat, I will try to make. Throw it at me." He said, his mind already bouncing to the day ahead. When they would be officially married. Nothing could go wrong.

Mercy rolled her eyes at him for the sarcasm, swatting at him gently. "What is this 'something else' you speak of?" She teased, her tone playful. She gently releases him and made her way into the kitchen to hop onto the counter, watching him. "Mmm; I dunno. Lasagna?" She offered lightly, peering at him from her perch across the room.

"Lasagnaaaaa.... I'll go for that." Ajax perked up, opening the freezer, grabbing meat, reaching into the cupboard and grabbing the slabs of noodles, then reaching into the fridge and grabbing cheese. "Something else as in, like, dirt, or unedible stuff." He answered with a small snort. Within an hour he had a beautiful batch of lasagna thrown together. "See, I'm not as useless as the G in LasaGna when it comes to cooking." Ajax said cheerfully, handing her a plate.

"Score." Mercy grinned, making a classic triumphant fist pump. She watched him stroll around happily, rolling her eyes at his words. "Sounds super appetizing." She scoffed. She watched him in near silence for almost an hour as he worked, occasionally cuddling up to him when he had a free moment or two. She chuckled at his words when he handed her a plate, taking it and planting a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks, my love." She said, moving to sit down and waiting for him.
