(However awesome this is... ima answer and then leace you in the dust and skip ahead xD) +++ Ajax chuckled a little. "Goal accomplished indeed." He murmured, surprised to see he was enjoying the moment. Yikes. Mercy had definitely changed him- now he was enjoying being cuddled? Wow... but still, good. Much much better than not enjoying it and having to deal with it. "I don't know... not that I can recall." He teased with a small smile. This was perfect. A couple months later, in ssssssssseptember, Ajax was actually nervous. It was the day before their wedding, and he had the urge to set everything up early, have nothing to worry about, Wonder what the heck he was doing, and all of the above 10 more times.

Pffft I gotchu)) Mercy was quietly buzzing around the house, either sitting alone by herself for strangely long periods of time and going over her vows, or being even more needy than she usually was. She had cried three times that day over the stupidest things- first, she was panicking about cat hair and if it would get on her dress, then that she would look terrible or laugh strangely the day of, and lastly because her shoes hurt. Everything was a bit of a whirl of emotions through her head, but just then, she was sitting cross-legged on the floor petting Binx, looking a little dazed. She was excited, but also felt like there was nothing to do and everything to worry about.

Ajax stood in the bedroom, well, actually, in the bathroom attatched to the bedroom, staring at himself in the one mirror in the house. How could Mercy POSSIBLY want to marry an oaf like him? It had always been her helping him. When they met, she saved him, ten minutes later, she saved him, an hour later, she saved him. What had he even DONE for her, apart from being a cuddle cushion? He let out a small groan and sank against the wall, staring at the ceiling. Mercy deserved much better than him. Ajax decided to stop moping after a second and walked into the bedroom part, opening the closet to instead stare at the... suit... he was going to be forced to wear. Hey, it was dark blue, which was a plus.. but a suit? +It is a wedding, get over it+ he thought firmly before walking out into the main part to see Mercy sitting on the floor petting Binx in sort of a daze. "Hey, dreamer? How are you feeling?" He asked with a slight teasing tone.

Mercy was stressing about the little things, feeling inadequate herself. She always felt like She was a burden- some sort of nuisance to him, always buzzing around him in a needy way. What if he left her on the alter? What if he said 'I do not'? All sorts of negative possibilities hummed through her brain as she scratched Binx behind the ears. She only got snapped out of her reverie at the sound of his voice, looking up at him and lighting up. She stood and walked over to him, promptly curling her arms around him in a hug. "Excited. Nervous. Jittery. Self-conscious. Mostly excited. How about you?" She said sarcastically, looking up at him in a happy way.

(OOp by the way Goose is gonna ask you to say *I will* instead of *I do*. Just a little quirk I have xD) +++ Ajax smiled as she lit up and came over. "DOn't be nervous or jittery or self-conscious." He chuckled. "I'm ... totally and completely fine." He snorted, obviously sarcastic as well. He put his arm around her shoulders, mostly just to.. rest it. He had been way to busy worrying and being tense that his muscles were literally going to stop working. Of course he was extremely worried about the upcoming day. Was it POSSIBLE that she had been FAKING this ENTIRE TIME and would LAUGH IN HIS FACE and say I WILL NOT AT THE ALTAR? +Naw+ He reassured himself. She wouldn't do that.

Pffft aight)) Mercy scoffed at him playfully for his words, rolling her eyes and setting her head against his chest. "Aw, thanks for the advice, honey. Super helpful." She joked, doing her own, little happy wiggle when he wrapped his arm around her. "Mmmhm. I'm sure you definitely are." She mocked his tone, gently getting on her tiptoes to press a kiss to his lips. "Are you excited to get maaarrriiieeed?" She asked playfully.

Ajax offered a sweet smile. "You're very welcome. I'm glad it was helpful." He resisted a grin, though he was amused at the fact she still couldn't resist wiggling whenever he was anywhere near her. "I am! Totally non-chalant, happy, and perfectly okay!" He grinned, totally and obviously joking/lying. He leaned down slightly to kiss her back, suppressing a laugh as he was yet again reminded by their foot of height different. (MUAHAHA) "Of course I'm EXCITED who wouldn't be?" Ajax snorted.

Where should they go on their honeymoon?)) "Mmhm." Mercy said skeptically in response to his words, giggling. "Just non-chalant, happy, and a-ok. Good to know." She teased, fighting not to break their kiss with a smile as he leaned down. She had never minded being so much shorter than him: if anything, honestly, she enjoyed it. It made her feel safe and small. "No one." She giggled, buzzing with her own little hyperactive energy. "You know, most people would have bachelor and bachelorette parties tonight." She pointed out lightly.

(uhhh... I have no idea. You decide!) +++ "Yep! Those words exactly." Ajax smiled brightly. As much as he hated to admit, he would have made an amazing actor- he was great at hiding his own feelings and put on a different front that people saw. At her mention of that he arched an eyebrow. "Uhmmm not to rain on your party but when i met you i seem to recall you saying *the only close friends you had were old ladies from the knitting club* and then saying you were joking. Not to be RUDE or anything, but who would you bring to your bachorlette party?" He qinuired with a small grin, tilting his head.

That's not helpful How aaabbbboooouuuuutttttt Greece?)) "Hey, I thought that was funny." Mercy huffed, glancing off to the side at his mention of friends. "I dunno. You, Rooster, and Goose, I guess." She scoffed, burying her head in the crook of his neck. "You don't need to rub my lack of friends in my face, y'know." She joked softly.
