Quinn had to do all she could to not start laughing again. Sahara took a few threatening steps closer, her eyes narrowed. Quinn stifled a giggle and glanced at Sage. "In their own way." was all Quinn could say. Sahara's pelt twitched again, even though there were no flies. It was a telltale sign of blushing in horses, to Quinn. (Of course I'm just making this up, I needed some way for Sahara to show it lol)

(Lol, yeah. It's a good way though, very creative xD)

Sage muffled another snicker, though one slipped out when Sahara took a few steps closer, and a guffaw slipped out of his mouth before he clapped a hand over his mouth to stifle it. "Oh good. I can tease chaos too then," he giggled. Chaos had come up behind them, and nudged sage hard enough to knock him over before tossing his head, happy with himself. Sage just dramatically gasped and stayed sprawled on the ground, playfully groaning, "oh no, I'm so injured," giggles still interrupting his words.

Quinn watched Sage and Chaos, her eyes sparkling. "Okay Sahara... I join your side. Three against one, Sage, care to lose?" Quinn said slowly, her smile growing into a grin. She stood up and went to lean on Sahara, brushing another stray hair away from her face. The mare nickered, nudging Quinn softly before pinning her ears at Sage.

Sage yelped slightly and pouted in response to Quinn's change of sides. "How rude," he huffed, though his eyes were still glittering with laughter. "What did I ever do to you to deserve this kind of treatment," he asked Quinn, though of course playfully.

-Muah haha- Quinn thought with a smirk. "Oh yes, how rude." Quinn mimicked him, clasping her hands together. "However will poor Sage live?" She asked in a motherly tone, breaking down into chuckles quickly. "Oh the many horrible things you have done. Ridiculing my horse, pushing your own, not paying enough attention to me..." Quinn widened her eyes slightly with a dramatic flair. "How could I live?" She asked, though her tone was teasing and her eyes sparkled

Sage huffed out a breath and scowled at the girl as best he could, crossing his arms and sitting up. "your horse ridiculed me first," he huffed. Then he grinned over at the girl. "Not enough attention," he asked with a chuckle, his whole demeanor turning mischievous. "You just wait until I'm better, then you'll see just how much attention I can give you," he declared, chaos tossing his head and nickering in the way sage had learned to mean he was amused.

Quinn laughed, and Sahara stomped her hoof. "Sahara says it was you." Quinn chuckled, her eyes bright. As Sage's demeanor changed Quinn tried not to giggle at how fast his tables had done a 270. "Oh I can't wait." Quinn said, her voice holding sarcasm... but she really meant it. Mostly. Sahara looked at Chaos and nickered, obviously saying something ... different. Quinn raised an eyebrow. "Sahara says she is going to be excused for a moment." Quinn half snorted, having a feeling she knew why. The mare walked off, coming back a while later with a plant Quinn had never seen before. "What's that?" She questioned. Sahara tossed her head and gave the plant to Quinn. "She says the plant will help accelerate her healing... that it is a special plant only animals know about." Quinn mused, her face snapping into a half grin half glare. "For one... why didn't you find this earlier!?" Quinn exclaimed. "For two, really?" She asked with a sigh

Sage snorted in response to Quinn's comment about not being able to wait. Then he cocked his head, confused, when Sahara excused herself, and was then even more confused when she came back with a plant. He blinked in shock before leaning forward and crawling over to sniff the plant. "Since I'm part wolf does that mean it'll work better on me," he eased, rather curious about it. Then he wri kled his nose and looked at Sahara after Quinn commented. "You are evil," he huffed, though in amusement.

Quinn cocked her head and looked at Sahara. The horse snorted again, shaking her head. "Sahara says it should work a lot better," Quinn said slowly. "You are such a mare!" She exclaimed, giving Sahara a swat. The horse swished her tail and stomped a hoof, pinning her ears. "Oh don't play that card with me." Quinn huffed, going into the cave and grabbing some already boiled water. She ground the plant into it and decided Sage would just have to drink it cold. "Here." Quinn sent a glare at Sahara, half teasing... half not

Sage cocked his head slightly at the horses comment, though he had no idea what she'd said, and then chuckled at the interaction between his wife and her horse. "What'd she say," he half whined in a playful manner, though Quinn had already walked away so he just shrugged and went back to sniffing the plant curiously. He looked up when Quinn came back, making a slight face when she handed him the cup but sitting down and drinking the foul tasting drink anyway.
