Max raised a brow "Swimsuit huh?" she teased playfully "Sounds fun..." she cooed "I'll pack later today." she said "I am really excited to see what this surprised get away is." she purred happily.

Sage chuckled and pecked her on the cheek. "Well I hope you like it," he hummed. Then he grinned sheepishly. "Lance already agreed to watch Charlie when we went, so now would be the perfect time anyway." He'd text Lance about it later...he was sure the guy would say yes, and enjoy it too. He was retired, so having Charlie over would give him something to do anyway.

Max giggled happily "I'm sure I will" she cooed happily before she looked at him in amazement "Well now you've thought of everything haven't you!?" she squeaked happily "I am even more excited for this surprise!" she said happily before she headed off to finish up a painting she was working on, she'd just come in for a cup of fresh paint water but this was a much better deal for sure. "I'll be back in soon." she assured happily.

Sage chuckled and nodded, waving the girl off happily. "You go have fun, I'll call you in for dinner so you don't forget to eat," he chuckled teasing the girl a bit. Once she got started, she tended to not stop until she was done. Which was fine but ...she did need to eat, drink, and sleep sometime. Once she'd gone out, he texted Lance to ask if he'd watch Charlie for a few days.

"Okay." she chuckled happily kissing his cheek before she headed back out to paint. Of course Lance was absolutely fine looking after his granddaughter though he was sure to ask Sage to try and make sure nothing supernatural happened while he was in his care which wasn't unreasonable... he was human afterall. "I am working some small jobs this week but it's not anything I can't or shouldn't bring her to." he assured happily as the little girl in question crawled out to go visit her mother.

Sage chuckled and kept an eye on Charlie until he was sure she was near Max (and that Max knew she was there). He nodded and chuckled again at Lances comment. "I can give her a potion that keeps her from using any powers," he reassured Lance. "So that won't be an issue." He gave him a grin then. "She sleeps through the night now too," he chuckled, since it hadn't been very long she'd mostly let them actually sleep through the night.

"Good... I love my granddaughter but i'd struggle to explain the things she can do..." he chuckled. Max was thrilled to see her daughter and set her up in her little area to play whilst she painted.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "I'm a demon and even I struggle with it sometimes," he admitted. He was glad to have Lance though...very glad. A few days later, they had set out. Charlie was at Lances safe and sound, and they were on the motercycle about to get to the beach. The woods on each side of the little cabin kept the beach view from Max, so he handed her a blindfold and guided her to the back window, where she could see everything with an excited giggle. Before telling her she could take the blindfold off.

Max was excited for their trip... as much as she'd miss Charlie she was glad to have a couple days where it was just her and Sage. When she saw the cute little cabin Max's smile went frome ear to ear "Sage this is beautiful..." she cooed happily looking around. When they pulled in and he put the blindfold on her though she was confused... but she let Sage guide her though the house until she was stopped. When she took off the blindfold her eyes went wide as saucers "Sage!" she squeaked "This is amazing!" she squeaked.

Sage chuckled slightly, relaxing a bit when she said she liked it. "Good, I'm glad," he cooed. "It wasn't too expensive either, so don't worry about that." He wrapped his arms around Max from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder. "We have three days to do whatever we want," he purred, glad to spend some time alone with his wife.
