Sage hummed softly in response to her comment, bobbing his head up and down in a sort of nod. "I've heard that from...lots of people," he mused with a soft chuckle. Though, when she mentioned he was wonderful he just smiled over at her. "Well you're pretty awesome yourself," he chirped. "No wonder we have such good kids," he added with a light laugh, moving to get up when she said she was ready for bed. "That sounds good to me," he hummed softly.

Mari grinned and moved to press a light kiss to the top of his head. He was a little strange, too... but it wasn't in a bad way. She'd never met anyone like him, and really didn't think that there were many people like him. There was no one that could have gone through what he'd been through, and come out the others side not only alive but as a loving husband and father, no one except Sage. He really was incredibly good at those roles, too... how he managed to find time between the horses and his art to just spend time with them was beyond her. "It's not a bad thing," she replied with a happy sort of chuckle. She grinned when he said she was awesome, really just enjoying the compliment, but nodded in agreement when he mentioned the kids. Hell, Silas had to have been about ten now... and they had rate tantrums, and Liz was just as easy. They were still both young, but they were just... good kids, she supposed. "Maybe Silas will even follow in your footsteps. In nine years time, he might just get some girl pregnant after a month of not even dating," she chuckled. "And in another ten years, he'll be sat on a kitchen stool with her in the middle of the night because she wanted a sandwich and didn't want to be alone," she teased lightly. She couldn't even be mad if their son had a life like that. She wanted him to have more, but as long as he was safe and happy... well, she couldn't complain at all. She yawned and nodded, washing up once she'd hopped off the table. She grabbed Sages hand and sort of tugged him upstairs to bed, kind of limpeted right back onto him once they were under the covers.

Sage hummed softly and nodded in response to her comment, giving her a grin. "I know," he hummed with a chuckle. "The people who find it bad generally add in some other words," he added with a chuckle. Though, when she mentioned Silas might follow in his footsteps, he winced slightly. "I think I'd rather him be a bit more responsible than that," he mused lightly. "Give him at least a couple months,* he joked lightly, following her upstairs happily and allowing hrr to wrap herself around him once they were back in bed, fine with falling asleep like that.

Mari smiled lightly to him after a moment and moved to press a light kiss to his lips as they wandered back upstairs, though soon got changed and flopped back down in bed to get comfortable. She wrapped herself around him snuggly, very quickly getting back to sleep. She slept comfortably... though when she woke up, the sun was shining bright in her eyes. She groaned, but looked back at Sage with a slightly cocked head. She gently poked his side, though moved to peck his cheek before wandering downstairs to make the two of them some tea. She placed the mugs on the bedside table before just sort of watching him, though a small snicker escaped her after a moment. She sort of moved to perch on the side of the bed, her hand brushing along his waist lightly. "Morning babe," she mused once she noticed him start to stir. "You wanting to go get some clothes on," she asked with an amused sort of laugh.

Sage had cuddled in and passed out fairly quickly himself, only stirring in the morning when Mari moved to kiss him and get up. He lay around for a while longer, until she moved to get him again. He sort of stretched with a soft hum of getting, chuckling softly at her comment about clothes. "Eventually," he mused. He'd get dressed whenever he got up .. But for now the blankets were plenty warm enough and he was rather comfortable

Mari gave a small smile to him when he woke up, picking up the tea and handing it to him once he'd sat up a little more. She then moved to go and sit on her side of the bed happily. She watched him stretch, a little grin across her face. He really was... well, he could be pretty adorable every now and then. At his comment, though, she gave a little chuckle. "Take your time, I don't mind this," she mused, gently patting his arm. She did wonder what he was planning on doing today. He said he was needing to go to the castle to see Anya... and Mari was a little worried about the condition of the queen, too.

Sage sort of moved to half sit up after a moment or so, once his senses had woken up enough to smell the tea and realize Mari was offering him a cup. So, he propped himself up on the pillows, humming a thanks as he took the cup and sipped at the hot drink. He chuckled softly at her comment, giving her a small grin. "I would think you be ok with it since you're the one who did this," he teased her gently. He'd go down to the castle that afternoon, see how things were going. But he be back for dinner, he'd imagine.

Mari smiled when he took her cup from her, though by then she was already settling back down. She smiled and sort of moved to press a light kiss to his cheek before resting happily. She felt a soft chuckle escape her at his comment, and sort of moved to pat his leg happily. "Hey, you did it," she mused lightly as she sipped at her own drink before putting her mug to the side with a happy little hum. "It's not my fault you do things without question," she chuckled lightly. She then looked over at him with a small smile. "You going out to the castle later? I'm wondering how they're all getting on up there," she noted after a short while.

Sage chuckled in response to her comment, nodding along. "I suppose so,* he mused. "But I was pleasing my wife, so I have an excuse. You, however, have no excuses for wanting me to strip for you," he added teasingly. At her question, he hummed softly and nodded. "I was planning on going and checking in after the horses. And then be back for dinner," he noted lightly.

Mari shrugged in response to his comment, sort of pouting and giving a bit of a hum. "Well your wife was very pleased," she mused. It was rather amusing at the time. She wasn't even sure why she wanted it... it was really just fun to see how much he'd do for her without thought. He didn't question it, he just did it. He trusted her. It was almost scary, really... but it did amuse her. She smiled and moved to peck his cheek warmly. She chuckled at his next comment, though. "Please. You know what I think about you. Can a wife not admire her super sexy husband for a bit?" She asked with an amused sort of laugh. She was rather curious, though... as to what was going on in the castle. He'd said that Anya was struggling, and, well, she was sort of nosey.
