Gale heard Kayla and turned towards her, signaling for her to come over before looking back to the woods. He stood, letting out a slow three note whistle, tapping his foot as he waited for a response. No response came,of course.Sage was dead,he just didn't want to accept it. "God damn it Sage, why do you do this to me man?" He asked himself, shaking his head and pursing out a one note whistle, turning back to Kayla and grabbing the bow, starting to walk.

Kayla followed him silently

Gale eventually pulled over, scotting and making a clearing in the area.He set his stuff down and looked at Kayla, smirking. "Self defense. You kinda suck at it.C'mon,i'll teach you.Since tommorow I won't be with you,we'll be seperate as we take on your father."

Kayla smiled at him softly. "I'm more of a run and hope they don't catch up kinda person" She joked

"I know." Gale mused, grabbing a knife and covering it with mollases. "Okay so,not the best but....take this.Try and attack me with it." He says, giving her the knife and waiting.

"You want me to attack you?" She muttered, trying
| |
"Yep.Ah,see?" He asks, grabbing her wrist and flicking it upwards, the knife falling. "If you go head on then their going to knock it out." Gale explains, tossing her the covered knife and tossing a slow punch.

Kayla cursed under her breath, tired of feeling helpless. She tried again
| |
Gale dodged it,starting to toy with her. "You're getting mad and I don't blame you, honestly. But look," He says, taking the knife. "If I do this," Gale starts darting forward and getting the knife to her throat, "Then I'd kill you." He released her,a smirk tugging on his face. "You're not going to hurt me.Now think of something that makes you really, really mad and use that when you try.C'mon, try me.You can't hurt me to bad.But just think, what makes you want to kill somebody? And use that against me."

Kayla rolled her eyes, still having a small smile playing on her lips as her thoughts drifted to when Gale was hurt by her father. She moved quicker and with more precision as she tried again
