As happy as Matt was about finally being in a relationship with Trixie, he couldn't shake off the underlying feeling of fear. He wasn't prepared to be hurt again, or to hurt again, but at the same time knew he had to take the risk. If he did, the outcome quite possibly could be rewarding, and he'd like that. Matt looked up from his thoughts after the kiss ended, masking the slight expression of unhappiness with a soft smile. "Do you wanna head back now?" he asked quietly, closing his hand over hers.

Trixie pressed herself into him slightly, curling her arms around him a bit tighter. She could tell there was something slightly wrong with him, but she was happy to ignore that feeling for the moment. "Yeah, if you do." She nodded lightly, returning the smile and pressing her lips lightly to his cheek.

Matt nodded and smiled, starting off back down the path they had come down. He didn't say much for most of it- he had no idea what to say that wouldn't be negative or upsetting, and he was certain neither of them wanted that right now- so he kept quiet. That was, until they got to the car. "Are you gonna want me to drop you back at yours or something? I don't imagine you'd wanna come back to mine, to be honest" he asked with a smile, promptly getting in the car, fiddling with the steering wheel while waiting for Trixies response.

Tricie held his hand gently as they walked on down the path, happy to stay in silence for the moment, since it meant that neither of them could make the other upset. She settled in the car and rested her hand gently on his thigh as he spoke. She nodded and gave a light smile. "I mean, I would like to spend some more time with you, but going to your house doesn't sound... like the best idea. I would really like to go home with you if we can just... beeline to your room and avoid Layla?" She suggested softly.

Matt nodded, feeling a little relief that she wanted to at least come back to his. "Of course. When we get there, if you just wait in the car i'll make sure i can find where she is" He smiled, starting the car up. It didn't take them long to get back to his, and once they were there and he had parked the car up outside, he turned to Trixie with a smile. "I'll be quick" he said softly, giving her a gentle kiss.

Trixie nodded lightly at his answer. "Yeah, alright." She smiled, settling lightly as they took the short drive to his. When they parked, she leaned lightly up and over the armrest to be closer to him. "As fast as you can." She managed quickly, a little panicky sounding. She leaned into his kiss and reciprocated it gently, laying a hand on the side of his face. Usually, everytime he went to do something 'quick', it ended up taking much longer than quick entailed.

Matt, though he didn't want to, chose to ignore the very faint panicky tone coming from Trixie, instead shutting the door gently and heading inside. He found Layla sitting right by the archway of the front room, near the front door itself. He quickly relayed the information that she should in fact, stay in her room and not come out- just like a kidnapper. It took a little while, but eventually the dumb red haired girl managed to get the hint and traipsed upstairs, luckily without an argument. Matt gestured for Trixie to come inside, locking the car after she had made her way out.

Trixie watched him walk inside quietly, fiddling gently with her fingers. She waited anxiously until he beckoned her in, hopping out quickly and going to him quickly. Once she reached him, she gently wrapped her arms around him and settled her forehead against his. "All good?" She asked lightly.

idea (before we do the whole thing we spoke about), seeing as Matt was meant to be dragged back to Italy or whatever I was thinking, we could do a thing where him n trixie argue (mayb about layla or will idk) on the day he's meant to leave, so he goes to the airport or something, and Trixie (however) gets there just before he leaves? and he then ends up not going? feel free to debunk the idea, just for things to write :) - Matt nodded and smiled, shutting the door behind Trixie. "Pretty much. She was pissed off enough by the fact i told her we're in a relationship to even argue with me, so i reckon you don't have a thing to worry about when avoiding her" he said, heading to the kitchen quickly. "I'm gonna get a drink, do you want one?" he asked, a wave of relief flushing over him. He was glad he was able to spend time with the girl he was, potentially, falling in love with, without some random redhead sent over by his father arguing about it. "Or do you wanna go straight up to my room? Just incase?" he asked, hanging his keys on the hook by the door.

Yes! That sounds really sweet, I love it :) )) "Hey, I won't complain about that. I wish I couldve seen the look on her face, it must have been priceless." She smiled, following him lightly. "Yeah, I'd love one." She nodded, offering him a happy smile. "How about grab drinks quickly, then run upstairs?" She teased.
