Sage snickered. "So we'll either love eachother or absolutely despise eachother with no in between, huh?" He tilted his head to peck her cheek lightly with a dorky grin. "Don't worry, I'll be a good boy," he giggled. He wanted Anya to enjoy the day...and if that meant putting up with people then he'd do it. He was used to doing that, admittedly, though he had a feeling people would be polite when he was with Anya, even if it was fake. Luther, though, that might be an issue. If they were both as firey as he was, things could get nasty. Mostly for sage, though he'd watched the army training and he hadn't been overly impressed with their sparing matches. It wasn't life or death, but everything was slow with brute force, not real fighting like sage was used to. But he also wouldn't put it past them to ransack the slums, and if they did that they could wipe out everyone down there. He was looking forward to meeting Luther, though, as odd as that sounds.

(Ok I was thinking that it would be fun if sage and Luther get along right away. Like, there's a few seconds of tension where they just stare at eachother in the eye and there's kinda a silent understanding and they become best buds pretty much right away. It would be funny if they go prank people in the castle together without Anya knowing. And if she catches them one time, that would be hilarious XD)

The girl felt a light blush fall on her cheeks when he placed a small kiss to her cheek. God, shouldn't be used to this? Apparently not. "You had better be, at least until the end of the festivities."She replied to a light chuckle, "then you can come back to mine and we can have our own fun," she smirked, gently poking his side. She took a glance to the clock and sat up a little. They had a little while until anything would have started, but it would be cool to have a look around for a bit, if Sage was up to it. She was a little concerned about how Sage and Luther would get along, but hopefully they would lean towards the getting along rather than the despising side. It wouldn't really matter, as long as they stayed civil then they should be fine. She grinned and placed a small kiss to his jaw before letting her hand slide out of his tunic and slipping her arms away from him and hopping off the bed. "Come on, lets go have a look around before anyone shows up," she chirped lightly.

(Ohh, yeah, that'd be fun! Especially with Anya assuming they'd be like mortal enemies. They could start off with a bit of testing banter before just messing about. It'd be fun to write about aha. They'd get up to all sorts of trouble lol)

Sage felt his cheeks redden when she said they would have their own fun after the festivities, but scrambled after her when she hopped off the bed. "Sounds good to me." He regained his strength by now, so he could walk around fine, and so could Anya. It would be good to do something until the other stuff started anyway...keep themselves from getting over excited while they waited. He followed her out of the room happily, still looking around the place as he walked.

(Yeah lol. And they should both be social awkward dorks when it gets down to it. Like they're legit scared of Anya yelling at them for causing trouble XD)

The girl led Sage out the room, walking happily down the halls. She had almost taken for granted how nice it was to walk without getting out of breath... of course, she still had her moments where she would have to take a break, but never just walking from place to place. She was actually quite pleased with how quickly they had recovered. There was still a little way to go for the both of them, but considering they had been on the brink of blipping out, things were going just fine. She looked around at the decorations, a huge smile on her face... they were the same decorations she had seen for the last seventeen years, which were centuries old, but they still caught her breath every time she saw them. There were candy bowls filled classical hard boiled sweets, like candy canes and alike, which she had grabbed a couple of and chucked one at Sage. It was still morning, but oh well, they could afford to scoff whatever they so pleased. It was already busy, with workers running around after everyone to make sure it was all ready. So much so that they barely noticed the two going for a little wander.

(Lmao it would be so cute! Like two kinda intimidating guys running around causing mischief then getting scared of being told off about it. Yeah I like that xD)

Sage caught the candy cane in surprise, then grinned that he was caught slightly unaware of something being thrown in the direction of his face. He watched as Anya bustled around happily, a huge grin spread across her face and a twinkle in her eyes. She was beautiful...and he knew he'd have to praw or paint her looking like this at some point. He nibbled at the candy cane as they walked about. Anything else he would have probably just bitten it, but it was good and he didn't usually get treats like this, so he took his time. Besides, he didn't want to fill up now and then not eat the dinner...Anya said it was practically to die for, and he didn't eat a whole lot anyway...his stomach was pretty small from his life in the slums. But he could eat a decent amount, and he was looking forward to whatever the day would bring.

Anya gave a bright smile as wandered around, glancing back to Sage every few moments to make sure he was still behind her. He had been in the castle a few weeks now, but he barely ever left the room unless he was dragged out. She was just kind of nervous that'd still get himself lost somehow. She wanted him with her for a little while, so that he couldn't be dragged aside by her family and given a run down. She didn't need anything negative getting to Sage, so she'd shelter him from her families wrath the best she could, and if that meant not leaving him alone with them, then so be it. She glanced back at him again, keeping her gaze on him for a little longer. "You know, you actually look like you belong here now." She purred in a teasing manner. She watched him walk a few steps before looking where she was going again, her cheeks slightly coloured. It was true, Sage looked great... with the clothes, and how he had bulked out to the point that he wasn't starving anymore, along with out being covered in dirt... she could actually imagine him wandering around with a fleet of guards around him.

Sage glanced over at Anya when she said that and chuckled. "I don't know about that. I think I'd much rather be free out in the slums than have a flock of people following me around, making sure I actually follow the rules," he chuckled. Besides. he hadn't seen anyone else here, besides possibly, a knight here or there, with any scars. And definitely not scars as large or obvious as his....probably because they had the medical care he didn't. Though, they also probably didn't get into as many fights as he did either. But hey, the point here was that Anya thought he looked good. He'd take the compliment...he supposed he'd just have to take her word for what he looked like...he tended to beat himself up over stuff he did or thought or...well, really anything else. He was a confident person, but not really about himself, other than his survival and fighting skills. And trash-talking skills, he supposed. Though, personally, he felt that a dagger was usually more effective than words.

Anya gave a small smile and paused him for a moment, "Sage, when I tell you something it's normally because I mean it." She gave a small snicker before poking his chest, "I said it looked like you should be here, I never said you actually should be, though. And you're free to run off to the slums whenever you so please." She rolled her eyes teasingly before continuing on her little wander, sucking on the candy cane as though to make the most of it. She wished he would be a bit more confident in himself, but that wasn't really something she could fix for him. "If you don't believe me, Sage, there are plenty of mirrors about," she purred as she wandered towards a window at the sound of hooves against cobble stone, only to see carriages. "That'll be the guy you stole a room off." She noted with a small chuckle. "Lets go say hi," she murmured inwardly before padding off down the hall.

Sage chuckled and out his hands up in mock surrender. "Ok, ok, fine. If you think I look good I'll take your word for it." He gave her a teasing grin. "Though, you are a bit biased," he giggled at the girl in a teasing manner. He looked over at Luther's carriage and then followed Anya. "Let's see how this turns out," he chirped. He'd try to be civil, make Anya happy, but if Luther was another obstinate fool, like so many royals, things would be difficult. He'd already told the queen off when she visited him. She hadn't come back, either, and he wasn't sure whether that was good or bad.

The girl raised a brow, "My? Biased? Never." She chuckled softly as she skipped down a set of stairs and out a door, holding it open for Sage before wandering out into the court yard. The man was already telling his servants what to do, pointing out where to go. The girl rolled her eyes and threw the last candy cane at him in an attempt to get his attention. It worked, but not because of quick reflexes, but because it got him slap bang in the middle of his face. "You're not on the south wing for now, that rooms being used. I've had a room set up on my hall." She called as she skipped down another set of stairs. The man let out a quiet groan before rubbing his face. "Why, hello to you too." He murmured in complaint before picking up the wrapped up sweet. "And thats not fair. Half of my things are there, Anya." He huffed with a frown before shouting his servants back and redirecting them. The girl gave a slight smirk, "You should have thought about that, you know, before leaving all your stuff. Imagine the maids surprise when the prince leaves the room a tip." She chuckled softly. Luther furrowed his brows. "I- it wasn't that bad, was it?" He asked with a cocked head before widening his eyes slightly as her realised she was teasing. "For someone who supposedly just got out the worst situation imaginable, you definitely have some spunk, don't you girl?" He asked with a teasingly posh voice... not that his normal way of speaking wasn't posh enough. "Now, who's grabbed my room up?" He quizzed as he scanned Anya, then his eyes fell on Sage... he stared at him for a moment, giving an 'I know it's you,' glare before glancing back to Anya, "Whos this?" his expression softened as he waited for a response.
