His cheeks tinted pink at the memory, running a hand down his face with a groan before noting she'd changed topics. "Well, i'm here now for you to enjoy, my love. And I won't be leaving for a long, long, long, LONG time." Gale noted, chuckling slightly as he kissed her cheek.

Smiling, Selene nodded after he kissed her cheek. "Good. I want you all to myself for as long as I can have you," she mused before lifting her head and turning to face him. She ran her fingers through his hair affectionately, looking forward to wherever life would take them. "Imagine just having the rest of our lives to do what we want.. just explore life together.. start a family.. who knows," she murmured, smiling at the idea. She'd be happy regardless.

He chuckled, pecking her lips as she ran her hands through his hair. "Well I promise you, you'll have me for a while, to do whatever you want I don't care, long as i'm with you." Gale mused, grinning at the idea of having a family together. "I like that idea, starting a family."

Selene nodded and chuckled, glad to know that they were on the same page of things. Neither of them could have a care in the world as long as they were together, and ultimately that was all that even mattered. Selene smiled as he gave his opinion on beginning their family, her eyes softening as she looked up at him. "Oh? Then perhaps it's time we start trying," she mused, wondering what it would be like to grow by a pair of feet, maybe more.

"We can start tonight," Gale blurted out, chuckling once he realized he'd said so. The two eventually got out of the water, sliding up onto the rocked bank to dry off with the towels he'd brought. The fabric caught one of his wounds, tearing it open again to which he responded with a yelp. He pressed a hand to his side, it coming back red. He frowned, pressing the towel to it, eventually stopping the bleeding. "We can start tonight once I get this restitched." He chuckled, grinning.

Selene laughed at his all too eager answer, a grin and a hint of flush on her face. "I have no argument with that," she told him before starting to get out of the water so she could dry off as well. She dried her body and hair before putting back on her clothes, her head snapping to Gale as he yelped. She grimaced a little as she saw the red, but she was relieved to see that he was able to stop the bleeding. "Definitely need to get stitched first. But then we can do whatever you want," she chuckled as she finished getting ready to head back.

He smirked at her words, finishing drying off before pulling his pants and tunic back on once he was dry, he tossed his damp towel over his shoulder, using the dry part to try and dry out his hair which, didn't work too great. Gale slipped back into his boots before rolling up the towels and stuffing them back in his pack, slinging it over his shoulder as he hopped up on Adonis before pulling Selene up. They got back to the castle in a matter of minutes, Gale waiting for her to dismount before hopping off himself and handing the stallion off to a stable hand. He turned back to Selene, the two walking up to the roof before asking some maids to bring them dinner which consisted of bread, potatoes, and turkey. The sunset cast shadows on both of them, highlighting their features even more.

(Totally thought I responded. My bad~) Selene shook her head with a smile as she put her shoes back on before getting onto Adonis with Gale's help. She made sure to hold on again, but she was careful and cautious of his side, not wanting to hurt him as they rode. Once they were back, she got down and waited for Gale, smiling as they walked on into the palace to see to their plans for the night. Soon, they were up on the roof and the maids had just left after bringing them the supper requested. The sunset was the most gorgeous of views, and she couldn't have been any happier than to share it with him again. "Are you feeling alright? With your side, I mean?" She asked, her gaze tearing away from the pink and orange colored sky. Edited at November 21, 2025 08:04 PM by Peachy Keen

He nodded, pressing a hand to the wound and expecting to see red again though it never came. Gale looked down at his palm, the scars stacking atop eachother. He frowned slightly, rubbing a deep scar with his thumb, looking down at her head in his lap and tucking a lock of her hair back. "Yes, sewed it up real quick and called it a day. Stopped bleeding though so, I think I should be fine." The man murmured, twirling a lock of her hair in his fingers. (all good!)

Selene stared up at Gale with that dreamy and loving look as she waited for his answer, content once he told her that he was fine and that he wasn't bleeding. "Good.. as long as you're not bleeding anymore," she murmured, smiling as he played with her hair. Her eyes fluttered closed and she sighed as she relaxed into him further. "I love you so much," she told him, her voice soft and gentle.
