Lorelei smiled, getting up to go eat. "Thank you," she smiled. She shrugged. "I don't care,"

"Well, do you have plans today?" He asked gently, pulling out and pushing in her chair for her.

Lorelei smiled and blushed at the simple gesture. "Not really, its the weekend,"

"Would you like to go out to lunch with me then?" He said softly, sitting across the table from her. "I understand if you don't."

"I thought we weren't supposed to be spotted in public," she teased.

"I'll take my chances with you"

Lorelei chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Not as a date, right?"

"Of course not...just a friendly guy and girl going to a place for lunch." He said non chalantly. "Unless you'd like it to be?" He asked in a deeper tone, leaning toward her with a chuckle

Lorelei was put off by his deeper tone. "Just friends, thanks," she said awkwardly, returning to her food. Deep down, she did really want it to be a date, but a part of her still didn't trust him.
