``Yeah,`` she mumbled sheepishly as she looked away again, leaning back in her seat. She realized she had spoken without thinking, something she had never really done with before. Myra was silent for a few moments before she added, ``I could tell them about you when I head back home. I`m sure they`ll like you.``

"Sure. Can I get your number so we stay in touch?" He asked, grabbing his own

Myra nodded before she removed her phone from her pocket, exchanging numbers with him. Would her parents find it odd that she was suddenly encouraging them to hire someone? Yes. Would they be completely dumbfounded to find out it was a guy? Yes, and even more so.

Caleb smiled as he put his phone away. "How long you been riding?" He asked curiously, making small-talk

``Since I was about twelve,`` Myra replied with a smile, reminiscing for a brief moment before continuing. ``How about you?``

"Since I can remember" He said, chuckling lightly

She smiled at his words, leaning back in her chair and sighing quietly. She really did enjoy hanging out with Caleb, even if they were barely friends at this point. She relaxed as she listened to the sounds of horses and other people, all of it a wonderful aspect of the rodeo experience.

Caleb listened as well, glad to have come and met her. He really did like her, and was hoping to see her more often if he did come work on her family's farm. Splash knocked over her water bucket and Caleb groaned. "Splash!" He scolded, getting up and going to refill it

Myra laughed at the scene, finding the whole thing hilarious. She remained where she was in her seat, content to observe with a smile plastered across her face.

Cleb refilled her water bucket and used an extra leadrope to tie it so it wouldn't fall over again. He kissed the mare's nose and closed the back of the trailer, walking back to his seat. "Sorry about that." He said, picking up his beer again
