Sage nodded along with a sort of hum. He understood that. "I was always the quiet kid too," he mused. "Though, it was more becasue everyone thought I was going to kill them not because I was reading," he admitted with a snort. "The origional plan was to be a surgeon. Then money got in the way so here I am," he added with a shrug. Her emotiones caught him off guard and he stopped walking, a little unsure what to do. But her emotions were clearly real. "I think you're right," he admitted. "There's some details in your file that don't make sense....but i have to connect the dots. i need hard evidence it wasn't you," he sighed with a shake of his head. "And even with that...the others don't listen much. I'm the new guy, the kid, the punk that looks like the criminals he's trying to corral. They don't want me here. I don't know if they'll even listen," he added, a bit of his exasperation at the job coming through in his voice.

Alleyah looked up at him, the surprise in her eyes. "I could tell you all the details right here and now, or atleast as much as I know" She said. "How much is on the file?"

Sage nodded when she mentioned telling him what she knew. "That might help," he noted. "I'd still have to find enough concrete evidene for any of them to listen to me though," he sighed, raking a hand through his hair. "Plenty of details....things would make sense to a lot of people, but some things just don't add up," he murmured.

"I promise ypu, with all that I am, that I didn't do it, and I can prove it." Ally said, stopping and crossing her arms. "Do you have your phone on you? I made a vlog when I was moving and my friend was in it. Me and Destiny were packing the truck when she decided to leave so I just continued the video. It was a live stream and everything. I'm innocent"

Sage raised his eyebrows when she mentioned the livestream. "The cops who were on the case didn't look at that," he asked surprised. When she shook her head no he frowned and tossed her his phone. "Pull it up," he noted. "I'll watch it." It might pull some of the pieces together. "Do you know who really did it then," he asked. "Or anyone who was in the area? See anything out of the ordinary?" His mind was on cop mode now....or rather it was criminal mode, he supposed, since he'd learned to think critically like this on the streets, but whatever.. His mind was running now.

She caught his phone easily, fumbling around until she found it, momentarily forgetting how to work a device. "Here" she held it out to him, unable to watch it. Until she heard a voice. "Holy crap. I forgot he was there for that" she mumbled, peeking over the top of his phone. She looked at destiny for a second before focusing on the other figure in the video- Marc. Marc had been walking past her house when he noticed her moving and came over to say hey. He was the only other person there. "It was him... Oh my gosh... It was Marc" she said, her eyes wide as she stepped away. Ally's hands flew to her mouth as she backed away in horror

Sage took the phone when she handed it back to him, watching it for a few minutes until the other male stepped into the video. He certainly agreed with the girl...the guy seemed too nice. Smile stretched a little too wide, seemed a little too eager to go help. "I think you're right," he murmured after a moment, brows furrowing and chewing on the ring on his bottom lip, nervous habit he'd picked up a while ago. "Let's get you back to your cell. I need to look some stuff up," he nodded, walking again.

Alleyah knew Marc was toxic and controlling, but she never expected him to be that cruel. She seemed to be in a daze as she followed Sage into her cell. She watched Sage leave. "Scar" she called hesitantly when he started to leave. "I told you" she stared at him, tears brimming in her eyes again. She might finally be free eventually... If Sage could convince the judge. She sat on her bed, unable to help the soft sob that wrached her frail body. She curled up on her bed, her mind swirling

Sages mind was a whirlwind as he brought the girl back to her cell. This was huge.... They had evidence, and she shouldn't be locked up like this. Her life had been completely messed up by a friend. A murderer, who was still out there. That wasn't a good thing. When she spoke though, he glanced over at her and his face softened slightly. "I'll do everything I can," he promised softly.

Ally felt a surge of hops at his words. She nodded a little, managing a weak smile before looking at Dale from the cell across from her. Her smile faltered when Dale glared at Sage. If eyes could shoot lazers, Sage would be dead by now. Ally glanced down at the small piece of chalk on the floor. She would need to remember to ask Sage for a bigger piece once she ran out. She slowly stood and leaned down to grab the chalk, lifting it toward the wall. Her hand hovered there for a second as she stared blankly at the blank space. She slowly pressed the chalk against the surface and let her creativity take over. The wall transformed into as much of a snowy field as she could manage before the chalk died. "Aww" she heard a mumble and glanced in the direction of the voice. Dale was leaning against the bars, his hands gripping the metal. "Did his little gift finally give out?" He asked, jealousy and anger seeping through his voice. Alleyah rolled her eyes, choosing to ignore him
