Adrien Pirla -☆- ~A few hours later~ Adrien texted Nicholas the directions to the AirBnB they booked him for a few nights. Adrien frowned, gripping his phone tightly and sliding it back into his pocket. He watched Nicholas for a moment before grabbing his arm gently. "Can... you take the cats....? I don't want anything to happen...." He muttered, trying not to show his vulnerability and worry for them. Which failed. He was really worried about the animals. Ginger wrapped around Adriens' legs, and Adrien bent down and picked the fluffy cat up, holding him close as he looked down at the cat.

Nick Browns - Nick watched as the directions to his AirBnB popped up in his messages. Nick had protested against this, but he really had no other option other than returning home. Although, he already had to do that to get his car and things. He couldn't keep borrowing things from Adrien. As Adrien grabbed his arm, it wasn't harsh or anything, so Nick welcomed the touch and turned his head to face Adrien. As the dark haired boy spoke he sounded worried and nervous, even if he tried to hide it. "Yeah, of course" He responded reassuringly, giving Adrien a little smile. He then looked away for a moment before filling the silence again. "On our way to the AirBnB I need to stop at my dad's house and grab my things before he burns them or something." Nick said quietly, looking down. He had refused to call that place home. It has never been home and never will be. His mom had never lived there and Eloise hadn't either. She, being the oldest, and probably the smartest was able to get out when their dad moved them into that house. Before that house, they had lived in the place where Nick would always call home. He had good and bad memories of that place, Taylor had some terrible ones, but it was still home. His mom had lived there, and after she had died, his father left her things where they were. His father had always been nasty, particularly to Nick, but he and his siblings had enough land and space so that they could all avoid their dad. Sometimes they'd never see him all day.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien blowed out a breath of relief, nodding at the small smile. When Nicholas mentioned going back to his 'Dad's house and not home,' brought up some memories... Dad had moved here after mom died... he said he wanted a good place to settle down with a new lady. Well, he didn't tell Adrien that. He told a friend, and Adrien was listening in... anyway, it only felt like home because of Aaron, the cats, and the attic... otherwise, it wasn't. At all. "Yeah. Aaron can take you." He said with a nod. Aaron piped in when she heard her name. "What will I do?" She asked. Adrien looked at her. "Take Nicholas to go get his things. Since you have to drive." He muttered. Aaron frowned but nodded. "Alright. Come on Nick!" She chirped, shifting back to the happy, motherly personality. Adrien waved as Aaron went to her jeep, getting in and looking at Nick. "Coming?"

Nick Browns - Nick nodded at the boy, as a goodbye, and turned on his heel. He walked over to Aaron and hopped in her jeep passenger seat. As she started driving, Nick turned to her. "You don't need to take me to the AirBnB, I'm gonna take my jeep from the house." He told her. Nick then checked the time. It was getting nerve-rackingly close to when his dad would come home, but Nick knew he could be in and out before his dad arrived.

Aaron Pirla -♡- Aaron nodded, turning off the radio so they could talk. Aaron hummed to herself quietly as they drove. She had put the hood up for Nicholas, but she sort of wished it was down. Meh. No matter. Aaron pulled up by Nicholas' house, stopping the car for him. "I'll meet you at the Airbnb. I'm gonna go back and pick up the cats." She said, smiling. She ruffled his hair gently. "Stay safe, dumb@ss." She hummed, waving bye to him and pulling around, driving back to Adrien. Who had probably already gotten all of the stuff and the cats in their harnesses. (Yes they have harnesses)

Nick Browns - Nick nodded and waved goodbye as well. After waving he rushed inside, the front door unlocked, predictable. He had about 15 minutes before his dad showed up. Nick tried to avoid the blood and scuff marks on the wall and floor of the entrance wall, where he was just previously brutally whipped just the other night. He grabbed his keys quickly and went straight to his room, where all of his things were. He packed all this things into his one and only bag, his football duffle bag. He did dump everything else out of it, so there was space in his bag, for all of his other belongings. After packing most of his clothes, a phone charger, toothbrush and other personal belongings, he zipped up his bag quickly and made a run for it. Grabbing his sneakers and berkenstocks he ran out of the house, and too his jeep. He started it and pulled out of the driveway, speeding off to the AirBnB, with his duffel bag in the passenger seat.

Aaron Pirla -☆- Aaron had picked up the cats, and both were sitting in the passenger seat, sniffing around. Adrien waved Aaron goodbye, and she smiled, backing out of the driveway. She turned onto the road, making sure to be careful as she drove toward the Airbnb. Aaron breathed out a small sigh of relief when she saw Nicholas' jeep already parked in the driveway. Aaron pulled in behind him, getting out of the car. She quickly went to the passenger side, opened it, and picked both of the curious cats up. They sniffed the air as she walked to the door, knocking on it.

Nick Browns - Nick drove all the way to the AirBnB. It wasn't a far drive, it was very close to Adrien and Aaron's, and it was walking distance. He entered the house, using the key under the front door welcome mat. It wasn't the best AirBnB, as it was all that was left that the three of them could pay for, but it did the trick. After entering he made his way straight into the bedroom. The entire house was particularly small, but it would work and was all Nick needed. The house had a small kitchen, living space, and bedroom all with a open concept design, and no doors, not allowing any privacy, even the bedroom was fully exposed to the rest of the house. The only door, being the one to the tiny bathroom. As he heard the knock on the door and walked over to answer it, and found Aaron and the two cats on the other side. He welcomed her in with a friendly smile and a quiet "Hey". He shut the door behind her, and walked over to the living room, where Aaron had sat down on the dusty sofa. "Why didn't Adrien come?" He asked, without thinking. He immediately regretted his words, but he still wanted to know.

Aaron Pirla -♡- Aaron smiled at him and walked inside, setting the cats down to explore the house. Though, Trixie skittered under a couch. Ginger was more lenient and began exploring. Aaron looked at him, raising an eyebrow at the question. "... He doesn't do cars. It took me forever to even get him to look in the direction of one. Or hear the sound of one." She sighed, slumping down on the couch. "I guess I could tell you... Nevermind. Its not that bad." She muttered, shrugging and forcing a small smile.

Nick Browns - Nick knew Aaron was downplaying the seriousness of that event over the reason why Adrien doesn't do cars. Even though he knew this, he didn't ask, if it was personal, and Aaron didn't wanna share, that was her desicion and perfectly fine. "Okay" He responds simply, not wanting to pry. Now sitting on the couch, on the other side of the couch, but curled up and comfortable. Ginger then jumped up onto the couch and went over to Nick, sniffing him. "Hello" He said to the cat lovingly and let the cat sniff his hand before he pet him.
