Audrey signalled Arwen to stop, noticing another figure in the dark, seemingly floating above the ocean, Instinctively, her hand went to her bow, even though she wouldn't be able to see well enough to get a clear shot. She narrowed her eyes, making out a tail. It was a merperson. She blinked a few times and realized that they were sitting on a rock, not floating. She debated whether or not she should flee or see what this merperson wanted

Al wet the shell and polished the crusty sand off of it. He smiled at the peach coloured shell and swept it into a pouch that was hanging across his chest. Al ran his fingers through his hair, he needed to cut it short. It was getting long.

Audrey put down her bow, not putting it away though. "Who's there?" she calls out, dismounting from Arwen. She stook close to her mare, in case she'd need to make a quick escape and needed to mount quickly.

Al turned around quickly, scanning the tree line, spotting somebody beside a four-legged whale, something that elf he saw called a 'horse' Al growled, loud enough to for the stranger to hear it. "I am" he said, unsure who it was, but he most definitely wasn't answering with his name. "Come out now or I will cut you down without remorse"

Recognizing the voice, Audrey smirked. "Oh? After I just tended your wounds Al?" She reponds, relaxing knowing that he wasn't an enemy or threat. "I won't shoot you this time" she teases, shaking her head. "We meet again" she adds, chuckling and stepping closer to the water Edited at May 9, 2024 10:18 PM by Hudie

Al blinked, "Wren?" He asked, allowing surprise to cover his features. He rubbed his arm and smiled, "yes, I suppose we do, it's like you can't seem to stay away from me" Al chuckled

"Yes. Who else? You expecting someone?" she asks, curious and wanting to poke fun at him a bit. "You wish" she replies with a playful eye roll "I've been trying to mind my own business, but you keep appearing everywhere" she adds.

Audrey pretends to gag, "I've seen better" she shoots back, rolling her eyes again. She looks away, "I would tell you to put a shirt on, but you fish never do wear clothes do you?" she says, glad the darkness hid her blush. She did not understand why she was reacting like this. He was a merman, the enemy!
