Sage chuckled lightly at her comment about teaching him and shrugged. "Maybe, if we have time," he mused. It wouldn't really be much use, and it would probably be rather difficult.....at least for him...but if it was a way to spend time with the girl while Lizzie slept, then he'd be ok with it. Once he'd gotten Lizzie back, he fussed over the girl for a minute as she woke, glancing over at T when she mentioned the drawing being good, a blush covering his face. He supposed he wasn't used to compliments all that much ....his father and Amy both had dismissed it as a useless talent to have. And they certainly didn't think it was that good. "It's not even done," he sort of squeaked, not really knowing what else to say. It did feel nice though, to have her think it was interesting. Of course, when she got Liz involved, he grinned down at the happy baby. "Yeah, that's you," he chirped. "I gotta keep documentation of you somehow," he chuckled.

"Well, we have the rest of our lives, right? However long that may be. It's not like I have any sort of hot date any time soon." T joked, letting Lucifer move closer to her so he could set his head on her thigh. She stroked the dog gently, grinning over at her newest companion at his blush. "And? That doesn't stop it from being gorgeous now." She said lightly, gently running her thumb over the page and looking down at the drawing, a soft smile on her lips. "Seriously, Sage. This is absolutely amazing." She added, her voice taking on a softer, more serious tone.

Sage chuckled slightly and then wrinkled his nose. "Yeah, if we manage to survive all of this," he snorted. Then he rolled his eyes and nudged her aide gently. "if there wasn't an apocalypse I'm sure you'd have the hottest guy out there," he chirped. He sort of focused on jiggling Lizzie on his legs gently when she spoke up again, his blush definitely getting deeper as she went on. "It's not really anything useful," he half protested. "But... thanks," he hummed, after his brain figured he should probably thank her.

"Well, I didn't say the rest of our lives would be long." T snorted, offering him a grin at his nudge and rolling her eyes. The slightest of blushes spread over her cheeks. "You overestimate my beauty. Probably because you haven't seen another woman in forever." She chuckled, shaking her head. She offered him a soft smile at his acceptance. "Just telling the truth." She shrugged.

Sage chuckled slightly in resposne to her comment, choosing to ignore the first one since he had the same thought but didn't really want to believe it. So he focused on her other one. "Oh, please," he snorted. "I've been married, I'm well aquainted with the female creature," he noted with amusement. "So am I," he yelped in response to her comment. "You're good looking, you're nice, you're smart, and you can take down any guy you're up against. The guys you'd be around if life was still normal would all be falling over themselves to get to you," he half grumbled to her, though not in an upset kind of way.

T chuckled at him, tilting her head at him playfully. "Well acquainted? Well, then, who am I to talk- it's not like I'm a woman or anything silly like that." She joked, rolling her eyes at him again as he insisted, a slight rush of attraction crossing her mind. She tilted her head at him as he continued, letting out a faint hum and offering him a somewhat sly smile as she turned her body to face him. "So you think I'm good looking? Duly noted." She smiled. "I'm sorry my attractiveness upsets you so, then." She joked, referring to his grumble.

Sage rolled his eyes in response to her comment, before feeling his cheeeks redden again when she teased him about calling her good looking. "You know what I mean," he huffed, continuing to jiggle Lizzie when she started complaining about him stopping the mvoement. "It's not like it makes any sense for me to ask you out or something, don't worry," he mused. He was putting it out as a joke...but he hadn't exactly had good luck with relationships. After all, he was quite literlaly bought by Amy, more or less. So he didn't expect her to want him, unless it was the same reason as Amy. But he didn't think she was the type of person to want that in that kind of situation.

"Do I?" Tempe teased, enjoying the slight blush she was causing on his face. She tilted her head curiously at him for his second comment, curling up and watching the notebook in her hands as she spoke. "And why wouldn't it?" She asked, feigning disinterest as she closed the notebook, keeping her gaze away from him with an attempt at nonchalantness.

Sage just shot a glare at the girl as she continued to tease, though it was obvious he wasn't actually mad at her. He was just...flustered. Very easily flustered. And he hated it...a lot. "yes, you do," he huffed. Though, at her next comment he sort of just stared at her, brain racing about a million miles an hour. She was joking...but what if she was also somewhat serious? Did that mean she was open to something? IF she was, what would that mean for them? He finally just shook his head and gave her a tight smile. "Becasue I don't think I'll ever be able to function in a normal relationship even if you wanted me," he finally admitted with a sort of shrug. "Plus there's, you know...this whole apocalypse thing going on," he added as an afterthought.

T offered him a light grin at his huff, her gaze drawing back up to his face to catch his eye. She simply stared back at him, her head tilted her so slightly in curiousity as he thought on her words. The silence seemed to stretch forever, and other than worrying about what he thought of her question, she considered her own preferences. It was nice to have a friend, yes. And while they had only known each other a day, she was cautiously hopeful that perhaps, someday, friends could become more. Half of her brain told her there was no reason to rush; that she had all the time in the world. The other half told her sooner was better than later in a world that never guaranteed tomorrow. By the time she had really started panicking over his answer, he spoke. She let out a tight breath at his words, unaware that she hadn't been breathing in the stretch of silence. She glanced off at the cave entrance and nodded, forcing a light smile at the slightly awkward turn. "Right. Well, the apocalypse doesn't leave room for much, I guess." She nodded, brushing past his first comment. "When was the last time you had a haircut?" She asked, using random curiousity to steer her away from the half-awkward moment.
