You are so right! One of my equine mentors was just talking about how people keep asking "who to make their horses less spooky?" and she spoke about how the majority of the time people need to get their horses to trust them first. I can say for every "spooky" or "un-confidant" horse or dog I have dealt with paying attention and getting them to trust first. It's a responsibility.

Plus a lot of times, I believe if they can be helped why not.
The only problem is the lack of resources.
I've already told my mom if I ever win the lottery I'm buying a whole bunch of land and I'm building a giant compound.
I may or may not work I don't know,
And they quit my full-time be rescuing animals.
If I had enough money I don't want to build my own veterinarian center.
I'd pay people with experience and knowledge to come in.
Have active where people from the outside to come in and bring their animals,
But also have the rescue attached to it.

Scooby problem is he is so smart but acts dumb.
Like this dog will run into a wall head first not paying attention but can open a stove door to steal my food.

Case I'd love to take him, I got really lucky by having 4 strong pack members to.
Scooby still needs more training but he dose really well.
He just learned how to open the stove door and steal my lasagna.
The oven wasn't on nor was it hot I had just said it in there.
I was taking the kids their plate and I come back and Scooby's eating my lasagna I was so mad I ain't going to lie.

MC that would kill me, I've had to do it many times.
Due to dogs poor health.
Poor snow had bone cancer,
And multiple of my grandma's dogs had to be put down to their health just failing.
I remember her crying because she couldn't afford to take Sammy to the vet and his liver was failing he was just going to go any day and he was not feeling well.
And I asked her how much it was she told me I said I'll cover it you just got to pay me back cuz I do need diapers.

Damnit haha ive literally tried to give this dog to anyone to save him. He wants to be a good boy but is very scared. Not abused but EXTREMELY unconfideant and bites because of it. If I didn't have two adult males I would take him on.

I keep telling them if they can get her a pen somewhere safe away from everybody else I'd be more than happy to work with her.
But they would also have to provide a muzzle.

If they have to go to get rid of her they cannot safely rehome her.
And on top of that if they take her to the pound because of her aggressive behavior and her age they will probably just consider her a risk.

You are so right! I look at her as she scoots down a bit, another blush settling on my face as she gives me a peck on the cheek. I let her snuggle closer to me as I enjoyed her being close and the warmth she brought me. "I'm glad you do" I whisper quietly to her, now burying my head into the crook of her neck

I freeze at her questions, biting my lip slightly I let out a deep breath of air, "Well... I saw Tyler and S-Stacy k-kissing out in the h-hallway..." I silently mutter holding back any emotions that wanted to spill out, nuzzling deeper into her neck.

"Well... I saw Tyler and S-Stacy k-kissing out in the h-hallway..." she says nuzzling deeper into my neck. I sigh happily. Then realizing she was sad, I frowned. "I'm sorry about that. Do you want me to come with you when you go to break up with him...?" I ask her quietly.

I nodded a bit at her words, tightening my arms around her. "yes please..." I responed quietly, having her there would help keep her calm and it'd be comforting to know she was there for her. I eventually bring a hand up running it through her hair gently. It was really soft and now was going to be her new favorite thing to play with, with how soft it was.

I have my eyes open studying her face as she says, "Yes please..." softly. I smile nodding my head, then she reaches up and runs a hand through my hair. It feels nice and I lean into the touch. Snuggling impossibly closer to her. "Don't worry I will. Also, I don't know if you want to hear this but I found out through his second account. Tylerisawesome. Even though that's not true at all." I huff out. Anger rising at Tyler, but Olivers hand running my hair calmed me. Plus I was enjoing the cuddling and her warmth near me. "Do you want to move or want to stay...? I'm tired..." I mumble, yawning and nuzzling my head into the crook of her neck.

I let out a soft, pleased hum as she leans into my hands as I continue to run my hand through her hair. It feels good to have her settled and relaxed in my arms, better than anything else I've felt in my life. "Thank you" I say softly bringing my head away from her neck and looking at her, a small smile settled on my face "Thanks for letting me know and yeah that's definitely not true" I snorted lightly looking at her and admiring her shiny blue eyes. "I'll stay... I feel comfortable right now and I don't want to leave you" I admit quietly, curling closer to her as she buries her head into my neck. "You can go to sleep again, I'll be right here" I tell her quietly hoping it would be comforting like it was for me.

I listen to her words. Her voice sounded calm, which was pleasing to me. "You can go to sleep again, I'll be right here" she says, I could still feel her hand in my hair and it was comforting. Along with her cinnamon scent. I smile, "You better be..." I murmured before falling back asleep.

I nuzzle my head next to hers as I keep my hand running through her hair. "You better be...." She mumbles in a cute sleepy way before falling asleep. I snort lightly at her cuteness before giving her a light kiss on the forehead. After a moment I close my eyes and drift off to sleep

I wake up the next morning still huddled next to Oliver. I smile softly and nuzzle my head into the crook of her neck again. My head fits perfectly there. It's like it was made for my head. I slowly take in a breath of air, cinnamon and strawberry. I close my eyes savoring it. Before opening my eyes again and examining Oliver's face. She looks so peaceful when she's asleep... she must be having a good dream since she's smiling. I throw my arm back behind me, blindly searching for my phone. When I find it, I pull it back towards me and turn it on. Oh crap. We have school soon... I turn back to Oliver. "We have to get up..." I mumble, tiredly. Eyes closed again.
