He looked up at her with a teasingly offended look on his face as she said that. Rolling his eyes. He finished up working on the saddle armor. "Thanks. I think." He joked. Crow snorted as she walked away. He giggled quietly. Turning around he started putting on his own armor. He slipped the helmet on, then his gloves. He took Crow's reins and walked out of the stall, making sure think would fall off of Crow and adjusted the straps a little. He itched him in one of his favorite spots for a moment, he was leaning over Ali very quickly.

Kitty was quite fast at putting her own armor on, and she stalked out of the room with the same stoic demeanor she always had when portraying Kaden. She gave Ali a curt nod, walking to Grimm's stall and leaning against the door with a smile as her squire's scurried about, putting his bridle on. The eldest, one named Sam, blinked at her when she realized she was watching, flashing her a crooked smile. The other, a younger, smaller boy named James, gave her an excited wave, passing her the reins eagerly. J "Hello, Kaden." He basically squeaked, looking up at her in slight awe. Sam rolled his eyes and patted Grimm's neck. She smiled and gave them a small, two fingered acknowledgement. ((Squires are so cute I swear to goodness))

he nodded back at her as she walked past, almost falling over because Crow was pushing into him-. Ali was watching, peering over Crow's back and watching how she looked at the boys. He was still itching Crow- then remembered he had places to be, patting his neck and walking toward the barn door past her squires, he nodded slightly at the younger one- James- since he was on the right side and then moved on out, following Kitty. He decided to get on Crow without a mounting block becaude he didn't feel like looking for one and he was pretty mobile even in srmor, struggling only slightly but was fine one his other foot left the ground. He dropped the reins for a second to make sure all was in order. Crow decided to walk toward the arena ok his own and Ali didn't stop him.

James looked like he had a little fit of excitement that two knights realized he existed, and Sam had to calm him down. Kitty got on the same way as she had at the last tournament, while Grimm was still moving, smiling back at her squires. She then turned her attention to Ali, not speaking but slowing Grimm down to walk in step with him as they made their way to the arena.

He grinned ever so slightly st the boy's reaction. Being recognized felt good, but because he was going it all himself it was more real than whatever his parents had. He looked up af Kitty as she moved toward him, their horses in the same gait. It was very good to have a friend. He lined up with the other knights who were ready also.

She lined up with him, waiting quietly for the tournament to start. And eventually, it did, with announcements and such. Finally, the jousters were led off to their seperate sides and the rounds began. Soon enough after that, a mysterious coincidence happened. Both Noire and Rider were the next competitors. Kitty gave an amused grin and picked out a medium lance from Sam, looking down the straight at Ali. She lined Grimm up, waiting for the flag.

I'm doing the one I suggested- she hims him, both, he hits her)) He was chosen to be led off to the other side along with a few others. He didn't have much time to think about who he'd be with on the spot before the voice boomed out, though faint. Of course it was her. He rolled his eyes and trotted out from the line, spinning Criw around and swiping up a medium lance. He ended up lined up, aimed at Kitty. He watched the flag drop quickly, nudging Crow- who was eagerly prancing on the spot- to a gallop. He started it off by resring up and then taking off. He mimmicked her style and lowered the lance late, although embarrassing, his lance grazed off lf her and she landed a hit. He dropped the lance, falling backwards slightly. He didn't feel that one too bad, the wind was knocked out of him but that wasn't bad. He pulled on the reins a little to remind Crow to slow down as he sat up. He took a deep breath, making sure his armor was ready before he picked up another Medium lamce.

Mk)) Grimm took off at full speed, and Kitty gave Ali a square hit to the chest, blinking in surprise at the hit; or lack of one, rather. She couldn't help but chuckle at the way he had attempted to mimic her. She looked over her shoulder at him in a way that showed, if she didn't have a helmet on, she would throwing a teasing smirk at him. She grabbed a light lance, flipping Grimm around and waiting for the flag. When it dropped, they took off once more. Kitty got a nice delivery to his shoulder, her lance splintering into pieces. When his hit her stomach, however, she gave an unvoluntary lurch backward. If she had one weakness in this game, it was her lack of weight to put behind a lance, compared to most of the brutes that ran these games. Which meant, in turn, almost every hit could unseat her if she didn't deal with it the right way. ((Should she fall off when he hits her?)) Edited at August 6, 2023 08:36 AM by Widow Valley Farms

Yes she should fall)) He was still thinking a bit about the look he'd seen her give from behind the helmet. He knew what that look meant. He grinned, the flag dropped and they were off. He lowered his lance like usual instead of trying to copy her again. He managed to land a hit on her stomach, buuut not before she broke a lance on his shoulder, pushing him to the side and a little back. He grunted and pulled himself back up through, he looked back to make sure she was alright before he continued on. He grabbed a heavy lance and spun around while he waited for the flag to drop. And it did. He took off, lowering it pretty quickly. He did hit her this time, her lance appeared to glance off him, but his did not. It rammed into her stomach also, the lance cracked a little. He threw it off to the side, pulling Crow in and turning around since she wasn't on her horse. He hopped over the wall when he came to where she was and right off of his horse. He stood a little over her. "You alright?" He asked quietly and put his hand down for her.

She snatched up a medium lance, barely making the flag. She was NOT expecting such a solid hit, her lance slipping from her grasp on impact. She got the wind knocked out of her, getting shoved back too far to recover. She slammed to the ground flat on her back, conking her head rather hard. She winced and blinked a few times, shaking her head to clear the slight black rimming her vision. The crowd was giving their usual loud reaction to them. She stared up at the silhouette blocking the sun for a few moments, making him look a little bit like an angel in her just shocked mind. She shook her head and reached up to grab his hand. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Nice job." She smiled, pulling herself up and shaking her head again as she let go of his hand. Grimm was watching her curiously from where Sam had caught him, snorting with his ears perked. She made her way over, breathing a bit heavily to recover.
