He snorted at her joke "Yeah maybe" He said in reply with a small chckle before continuing to eat his apple "Mind if I take one home for my mom? I'm sure she'd enjoy one as well" He asked bringing his gaze over to her

"Not at all. Take as many as you like." She gave him a sweet smile and sat down, settling on the pavement.

"Sweet! Thank you!" He said with a bright smile before finishing off his apple. He tossed the core into a nearby bin that was being used for the rosebush trimmings then headed over to the appletree, grabbing a low hanging limb he easily pulled himself up onto it then proceeded to climb further up from there. He grabbed 4 apples that looked the best before carefully climbing back down with a soft landing

"Its no problem." She smiled, a light pink flush creeping up her face. She tossed her core in the same place. "You're a good climber."

He put away the 4 apples in a pouch that he carried with him before returning back ot work "Mhm I am.. I used to do it all the time as a kid and it helps being a farmer. All you do is use your arms all day long so it builds muscle which in return makes it easier to climb up things" He stated as he continued to trim the rosebushes

"Sounds fun. I wish I could go two feet outside the property line without getting yelled at. Then I could climb a tree taller than fifteen feet." She grumbled.

"I could always help sneak you out and there are plenty of trees above fifteen feet out there" He said without even thinking as he glanced over at her "Crap sorry that's not a good idea.. Don't listen to me" He said quickly turning his gaze away once more

"Wait, no!" She grabbed his wrist gently. "That's a great idea. I would love that! If... you're still down to help me, that is?" She tilted her head up at him, giving him her best puppy eyes.

He stopped what he was doing and looked down at her hand which grabbed his wrist, a small red started to paint his face at her touch. Kennedy was going to refuse to help but when he brought his gaze up and saw here eyes he let out a sigh "Don't look at me like that..." He said quietly to her almost as if pleading

"Please?" She took a small step closer to him. "It would mean a lot to me." She tilted her head and grabbed his hand gently.
