She flinched slightly at the sudden Tyler that fell from the tree but then laughed "Yep, I did" she had a smile across her face -Awe he laughed- she thought, Zelda had never seen Tyler show much emotion, she looked down so that she wouldn't make him uncomfortable "You should smile more, you look so happy when you do" she looked up at him "ok my turn to hide, I think I know how to hide better" she smiled slightly Edited at April 30, 2023 01:25 AM by Hyrule_Stables

Tyler tipped his head. "Ah, but if I smiled more I would also look so much more inviting. Then people would actually start TALKING to me. I might be able to smile... but keeping up a conversation is a different situation altogether." Tyler's eyes glinted and he tipped his head as she said she was going to go hide. He walked over to the stream and crouched down beside it, studying the water for a moment while Zelda left and hid. He thought about what she said... smiling actually felt... weird. He really didn't do it that often... maybe he should try it more.

Zelda tipped her head in return then turned around and silently fast-walked back into the woods, this time making sure she didn't leave any footprints, and if she did then she'd cover them with leaves, she went about a minutes walk into the forest and looked for places to hide... That's when she looked up at a branch, she tried attaching leaves and branches to herself which didn't quite work, then climbed the tree. Zelda found it difficult, she had never climbed one before but she eventually made it, once she was up there she snatched a chunky branch and held it in front of her to help her blend in better

Tyler waited a couple minutes before standing up. He smiled when he saw leaves covering the footprints. "At least she's learning.. and trying..." Tyler mused. He followed the piles of scattered leaves, checking under each one to make sure there was a footprint. Soon the leaf piles disappeared... and they were on drier land. There wouldn't be foorprints. Tyler looked for tiny signs somone had been through there... like little branches that had been broken off. He also listened... and when he got closer he very faintly heard breathing. -She stole my trick- Tyler resisted a laugh as he looked up in the tree. One of the branches looked very off... but he pretened not to notice it. Tyler kept walking like he hadn't seen anything. Once he was out of her sight he quickly climbed a tree, then proceeded to jump from tree to tree. This was Tyler's favorite way of traveling... quick, easy, and not many people see you. No one would expect a 200 pound man leaping from tree to tree silently like a cat. Tyler hopped into the same tree Zelda was in, being perfectly silent... even holding his breath. The forest got silent around them. The birds stopped tweeting. Tyler grinned. He snuck up on Zelda from behind. "Hello Zelda, how are you today?" Tyler asked, making his deep voice a little louder than normal.

Zelda had waited a few minutes before she spotted A lump coming through the trees, Tyler was looking for her. She leant back a bit when he looked up in her direction, but he kept walking -Did he really not see me?- she wondered then whispered to herself "heh, didn't think I'd learn THAT quickly" she was too busy being proud of her hiding spot that she didn't realize Tyler got out of sight "Wha- where did he go...?" She looked around the far ground but couldn't see him anywhere when all of a sudden she heard his loud deep voice from the branch next to her "EEF!" She jumped so hard she lost balance "oof!" A little thud as she fell on her bottom on the ground, she stood up, dusted herself off then looked up the tree seeing Tyler "Oh.. Guess you found me" She said, a smilish grin growing over her face as she giggled at how smooth he played the 'Hello Zelda, how are you today?' Man you are so good at this" she said followed with a laugh "and sneaky" she murmured throwing a karate chop at the air Edited at May 26, 2023 05:19 AM by Hyrule_Stables

Tyler barked a laugh, nodding a little. "I'm a trained bodyguard, sneaky is literally part of my job description." He answered, chuckling at her surprised and happy look. "And everything comes from practice. Years... and years... of practice."

She nodded "I see..." I can be sneaky too!.. Mainly during the night when i want cookies, ha that's when i'm most quiet" She said half in a joking way and half seriously. She looked at the tree top to bottom then to the next tree "Hey, you good at tree jumpin'? I'm not but it looks fun, i've seen bandits and thieves do it. They make it look easy" She said in a tone of wonder (Whatever that means XD) she climbed the tree and looked at Tyler before looking at the next tree over "You go first, i wanna see exactly how you do it. Then, i'll follow" She said with a small smile

Tyler let out a snort, his eyebrows raising slightly. "I see..." He said quietly, drawing out the words slightly to show he did NOT see but focusing on her next words. "It is the best way to travel when not wanting attention drawn to yourself." Tyler confirmed, perking up slightly at the mention of tree jumping. "Well then call me a bandit or a thief because I've been tree jumping since a kid." He joked, then nodded. "It is easy, once you get the hang of it." TYler added before pulling himself effortlessly into the tree. "You need a couple things to be good at this... patience, stubborness, a hard head, muscles, and prescision. You'll see what I mean." He started before swinging from one branch, letting go, flying through the air into the next tree, grabbing the other, and swinging himself up so he stood on a branch in the next tree.

She watched as Tyler launched himself into the next tree over "Well i am patiant, i may be stubborn when needed. Not too sure about Hard head or muscles.. But i have great precision with the things i usually do" Zelda said trying to sound confident. But she was slightly nervous, The way Tyler swung over there looked a little difficult from up close "Alright, here. i. COME!" She said encouragingly to herself as she leaped up, grabbed the branch and swinging till she knew she'd make it. Then, let go, landing on the branch next to him "O-Oh.. Wow! That felt amazing! Let's please keep going, you lead, i'll follow" Zelda spoke with actual confidence in her ability this time

Tyler watched and half prayed Zelda didn't fall and break a bone like he so many countless times had done. When she made it he looked a little impressed, nodding at her words. Tyler stepped along the branches and hopped into another tree, swinging down with his arms then pulling himself back up, then diving into a low tree and half somersaulting so he landed upright in a very thick branch,
