Sage snorted out a laugh and shook his head. "I didn't drink that much," he protested with a bit of a laugh. "It might have loosened my tongue a bit, but I know what I'm saying," he hummed, giving the girl a big grin. "The good thing is, you like me too so I didn't just make a complete fool of myself," he giggled, nudging the girl in a sort of gentle teasing manner. He thought about kissing the girl briefly, but they'd barely just gone on their first date...surely she'd think it was too soon? Maybe once they got back, he could give her a goodnight kiss. And maybe she'd let him on the bed.

Claudia laughed, "Well, looks like we're back.". She opened the Tavern door, it was loud, I mean, it was a while away from when the people started drinking so...yeah, lots of people were drunk. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at them as she headed toward her room, "I think I may go to bed, it's been a long night.", Claudia yawned. It had been a wonderful night...long, yes, but wonderful. "Do you have a shift tonight? If not...you could come to my room again, I don't mind.". She couldn't help but blush at her statement.

Sage shook his head and chuckled, though he eyes all the drunk people uneasily. "I have a shift...but it's not going to be super late I don't think," he sighed, giving the girl a tired smile. He let go of her hand and slipped off to go ahead and get changed. There was always a risk he'd be put in a room...but he did have to work. He'd already taken the rest of the day off, so he should work tonight. He didn't regret their time, though, he'd actually quite enjoyed it all. And now he had a girlfriend, which was nice...though he couldn't see why she liked him but he couldn't complain. Either way, he was looking forward to the night. He hated dealing with drunk people.

Claudia sighed and then nodded, "See you.". She smiled before walking up the stairs to her room. Once there she got changed into a nightgown she had found that morning. It was a bit itchy, nothing she couldn't handle though. Putting her hair into a loose braid she walked over to the bed, sitting so that her legs were crossed. She picked up a book she had found during breakfast, which must have been left by a customer...Claudia propped herself up against the head of the bed and started reading. The words flew across the page until she figured that the story was about love...family also. Two things she had very little of growing up, they were coming back now...because of Sage.

Sage changed quickly and then went out to the kitchen area and was immediately met with loud cat calls and drunk people noises. It was awful, but he could manage it. He waited for a while until he was done and then went to head to the room Claudia was in, but his boss stopped him and pointed to a rather large woman. She grabbed him and began to drag him along to her room, much to his annoyment and dissapointment. He supposed he'd be in a different room that night, unfortunately. Well, Claudia could go to bed...he wouldn't be coming in, so after a certain point she'd go to bed herself.

Claudia sighed after a while of reading, actually, she had finished the book. And Sage wasn't here...he must have had a room he was doing tonight, she groaned, a bit annoyed. She carefully placed down the book she had finished and covered herself in the blanket. Claudia looked around the room, she didn't know why she sometimes just spaced out from wherever she was, it calmed her. Especially from a day of a lot of her own and others' emotions, she sighed once more before reaching her hand out to turn the light off. Claudia felt bad for Sage...honestly, he deserved much better working conditions...not to mention better work, in general. Soon though Claudia had fallen asleep, still rethinking what had happened that day, still thinking about Sage.

Sage really had no choice but to get dragged around by the woman who'd grabbed him...she was quite large...much larger than he was. He winced slightly at the thought of being in bed with the woman. It definitely did not sound comfortable. And something about her just seemed off...crazy almost. He had a feeling this wouldn't go well, at all. He was right too...the woman dragged him into her room and as soon as the door was closed, she shoved him roughly towards the bed. He sort of staggered backwards with a yelp, though he muffled it since they were next door to Claudia, and he didn't want to wake the girl. The woman advanced on him then, with a rope, and he swallowed hard. Times like this, he wished he could say no...it would save him a lot of pain. Hours later, once the woman was done with him and his pained yelps, she shoved him off the bed and tossed his clothes at him with a snap to get out before she rolled over and started snoring. Sage sat there for a minute, catching his breath and getting his mind about him before scrambling to get dressed and get out of there. Of course, it was slow going...the woman had seemed to enjoy beating on him, and there were bruises already forming all over his rib cage and torso, as well as his neck. There were even finger printed bruises on his wrists and hips, though the cuts on his wrists from the rope she'd had made them almost difficult to see. He staggered back into the room Claudia was in, trying not to wake her up. His nose and lip were both bleeding, and he didn't want to get blood everywhere and scare the girl.

Claudia's eyes squinted open, they got quite large when she saw Sage. She sat upright and straight, her mouth gaping, "Wha-what happened to you?! Oh, Sage...". Claudia quickly swung her legs over the bed to come to help the boy, what the...Once close enough to him she saw he was bleeding, and had bruises..."Come on, sit here. I will get some...stuff, to help clean you up." Claudia gestured to the bed, giving him a worried look. What had happened?! She hurriedly rushed to the bathroom and got some supplies, and quickly rushed back.

Sage jumped when he heard the girl's voice and then felt stupid for getting startled. He gave the girl a sheepish grin and then shook his head. "I'm alright it's just a nose bleed ...." Then he trailed off, since it was more than that, and the girl knew. He sighed and wandered over to the bed, limping slightly since the bruises are starting to really hurt, flopping down on it with a grunt and closing his eyes wearily. He opened them when the girl came back, and sat up, though alibet pretty slowly.

Claudia wet a small towel and held it to Sage's nose, "Keep it there until it stops.". After a while of watching she sighed, "You have to get another job, I swear, your customs...I don't want to see you like this every night.". Claudia gave Sage a stern look, which soften quite quickly, "I don't like seeing you like this. I-I'm sure I and Mr.Lopex could work out something for you to work there.". Claudia sat next to Sage on the bed, not meeting his eyes, she didn't want to see him like this, it wasn't...it wasn't something she liked seeing.
