"You FULLBLOWN REJECTED ME." Ajax whined, looking mock offended. "As are you, but you don't have compition." he sank back into the couch with a dramatic sigh as he looked at Rex again. Smug dog. "I think we need a female dog. Then I can love on her instead." He huffed, lifting his eyebrows slightly as she mentioned Goose and Rooster. "great idea! I want to see their faces. I wonder if Goose will drop dead!" Ajax grinned evilly, immedietely getting up and disappearing into the small hallway to get the phone. After a quick conversation he came back. "Knowing Goose, they'll be here in a second. I told him there was a surprise. He LOOOOVES surprises." He rolled his eyes slightly. Sure enough....

Goose quickly knocked on the door, practically quivering with excitement. "What do ya think they want, Roos?" He asked excitedly.

"You... are... a big... baby!" Rooster panted for air, finally standing up straight. "We did NOT have to wing it all the way here faster than a jet powered rocket." he growled drily.

Ajax opened the door, smiling a little at Goose's expression and laughing at Rooster's. "Come on in."

"Did not." Mercy huffed, grinning at him. "Well, no one can compete with me. What do you expect?" She joked, pressing a kiss to his cheek again. "...as long as it means we get another dog, I'm down." She giggled, smiling as Ajax sprinted off to call his friends. She wiggled away from Rex and scurried to the door, bouncing on her toes eagerly and keeping her hands clasped behind her. "I can't wait to see their faces." She grinned.

She offered both of the men a smile as they let themselves in, exchanging a glance with Ajax. "Hey guys." She offered lightly.

Goose barged right in, looking suspiciously between the two. "What was that glance? Mercy? Ajax? Someone?" he asked quickly. "What was the *surprise*? Knowing you, Ajax, it was probably that you fried another rare fish from the lake. You have to stop doing that." Goose said drily, his eyebrows lifting.

Ajax stepped back to avoid getting run over by the shorter man, stiffling a chuckle. "rare fish? Just say walleye, and it isn't rare." He sniffed, waiting for Rooster to come in to close the door. Ajax walked over to Mercy and waited for HER to explain.

Mercy shrugged nonchalantly, curling one arm around Ajax and moving her left hand from behind her back. "Honestly, it's not that big of a surprise. But first, I was just wondering if you noticed anything... different. About me, you know." She shrugged, lifting her ringed hand to sweep at her hair, then rest on her jeans, where her ring caught the sun.

Goose narrowed his eyes even more, studying Mercy. "You exasperate me. Ajax, why her? Why'd you have to hang around her?" he joked with a small groan. However, when Mercy's hand went down to catch the sunlight, he noticed... a... ring. A ring. A flipping ring. "Oh. My. God." Goose's jaw dropped halfway to the floor and his eyes practicaly bugged out like a cartoon character. "Ajax you DIDN'T." he stared for asecond longer before practically snatching Mercy's hand up and then letting out a squeal. "YOU DID OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH I WILL BE STUCK WITH MERCY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE IF I EVER WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH AJAZ THIS IS AMAZING OH MY GOSH AJAXXXXX YOU DIDDDDD YOU'RE ENGAGED AND GETTING MARRIED AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." Gose practically screamed it over the mountaintops, bouncing around like a rabbit on cocaine.

Rooster's eyes widened a little as Goose started screaming, but he quickly understood. A small gasp of surprise escaped. "Really? Wow Ajax... and Mercy. Congrats."

"Rude." Mercy scoffed teasingly, snickering at Goose's girly reaction. She jumped up and down with him, equally squealing like a rabbit on cocaine. "I KNOW! I KNOW! HE PROPOSED AND WE'RE GONNA BE MARRIED AND HAVE DOGS ANDWEREGONNABESTUCKTOGETHERFOREVERIMSOEXCITED EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" She squealed along with him, pulling him into a happy, bouncy hug, and then mirroring the action with Rooster. She was just a ball of energy, and when she was happy, and around another happy ball of energy, there was no stopping her affection. "Thankkkk you." She giggled breathlessly, wiggling her way back to Ajax and under his arm. "Heh. So, so, so, so, we're getting married." She peeked out excitedly.

Goose literally changed into a three year old kid that had aten a whole bag of plain brown sugar as he pretty much just bounced up and down with Mercy. "This is amazing! I', so excited for you two! And the new dog I here your getting! Wonder if Ajax said yes to that yet! WOWOWWOW." His brain was fried with awesomeness overload as he stopped jumping around and leaned against a wall.

Rooster flinched back with a snort as Mercy shot forward and exuberantly hugged him. "Yay for you." he said with as much enthusiasm as he could muster, crossing his arms so if she tried it again she would run into them instead of him.

Ajax rolled his eyes a little at their reactions. "Children, children, calm down." He said with a snort, wrapping his arm round Mercy as she tried to wiggle in. "You just realized? I'd clap if I had my hand." He said sarcastically, although he was grinning.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" Mercy asked Ajax lightly, looking up him with the most doe-eyed expression She possessed. "Because I looooove you. I love you love you." She teased, turning her attention back to Goose. "Goose is my maid of honor." She said bluntly, grinning in her own fluttery little way.

Ajax slowly looked down at Mercy as she spoke. "You've told me I was a doofus, a stubborn mule, unhelpful, rude, cruel, abusive, and other things, but I don't think I've ever heard I love you." He teased, chuckling a little at her tone. "I *looooooove* you too." Ajax copied her drawn out, squeaky word, snorting. "Maid? Huh. He does act more like a girl than most." He huffed.

Goose could not stop grinning. "This is absolutely incredible. Mercy, you really are a miracle worker. To snatch AJAX up? Yikes." He said with a laugh, glaring at Ajax with his words about the maid of honor thing. "Haha, very funny big guy." He said with a snort of his own.

"Well- I don't think I ever called you cr-... oh, yeah, I did. Well, uhm, see; that's not important because I still looooooooooooove you, darling." Mercy teased, grinning up at him as he repeated it. "Hey! Leave my maid of honor alone!" She hissed playfully, swatting softly at his abdomen.

"Well I'm an angel, so it's kinda my job." She giggled, grinning at Goose. "Will you wear a dress for it too? Or are you too chicken?" She teased, snuggling herself closer to Ajax.
