Sage felt his eyes widen as she spoke...not because her hand was on her face, but because of what she was saying. He supposed he just had never heard that before. Not like this. His face softened slightly after a moment, a flush crossing his cheeks and a smile forming on his face. "Good," he noted softly, leaning into her touch slightly. "I'll take your word for it," he added with a soft chuckle.

Elara smiled warmly, about to say something before Liz suddenly appeared at her side, tugging on her pant leg. "Can you teach me how to spell his name?" The girl asked, pointing to Varys. The woman nodded, squatting down to her level. "I sure can! How about you go get our supplies out? I'll be inside in a minute," Liz nodded, dashing inside. Elara stood, chuckling as she glanced over at Sage. "Don't worry, I made sure the ink caps were screwed on real tight."

Sage had just smiled back at her, chuckling softly when Liz appeared out of nowhere, attention having moved on from teaching the wolf tricks. Maybe that was a good thing. When she mentioned screwing the lids on, he groaned and shook his head. "If she wasnt into it, she'll get into it," he noted with a fond grumble. "We'd better go make sure the cabin isn't painted black," he added with a chuckle, moving towards the cabin slowly, keeping her hand in his as he moved.

Elara smirked, knowing mentioning it got under his skin. She nodded in agreement at his comment, worried just a hair Liz was in the ink. "Probably a good idea," The woman noted, keeping his hand in hers as the two walked back inside, Liz unable to open the ink. "See? Told you I screwed them on,"

Sage had moved inside, not trusting the younger girl to stay clean and ink free. When they got inside though, and she hadn't opened them yet, he chuckled softly. "Not yet," he mused. "I'm sure she's have found a way if she'd been left to her own devices," he added fondly, moving to take the bottle and open it for Liz, setting it on the table next to her.

"Honestly I wouldn't be surprised, she's a smart kid, always figures things out." Elara mused with a soft chuckle, sitting beside Liz and starting to teach her whatever she wanted to learn.

Sage hummed softly with a nod. "Yeah, she is," he agreed fondly. He settled down next to Elara and Liz then, just watching them work. He didn't really care what all they were learning, even if Elara was teaching him too...he just liked them all being together like this.

"Now how do you write your name?" Liz asked Elara, the woman taking the quill from her hand. "Well, if i'm writing normally I write it like this." Elara Deveraux "But if i'm signing something important, it'll be like this." ℰ𝓁𝒶𝓇𝒶 𝒟ℯ𝓋ℯ𝓇𝒶𝓊𝓍

Sage just peered over at the paper as Elara wrote, chuckling softly when he noticed her signature. "You teach her to write all fancy like that, I'll never catch up," he noted lightly, pecking a kiss to the top of Liz's head.

"Well then, it's never too late to start, y'know." She mused, sliding a piece of paper, quill, and vat of ink to him, situating herself between both of them so they could see. "Now, Liz do you want to show him how much of the alphabet you know?" The woman asked, the girl nodding excitedly as she took off writing.
