Elijah smiles, "wanna go on a trail ride together tomorrow? You me and Ethan?" He asks

"No." She said, turning away from him

Elijah's smile dropped, "okay" he says, trying not to sound concerned or upset.

"I just want to have a lazy day tomorrow." She stated, getting up and walking downstairs

Elijah nods, "that's fair"

Dakota goes and sits at the kitchen's bar, thinking

Elijah smiles kissing her. "A penny for your thoughts?" He asks her

She half smiles at Elijah and kisses him back. "I'm just worried. Mostly about Ethan and you, but other things as well." She said quietly, turning a small decoration over it her hands

Elijah nods, "Wanna talk about it?"

"Not really. It would just burden you." She said, turning to smile at him half-heartedly
