Kennedy shook his head with a small smile as she now seemed satisfied with all he had said. "You better be sorry" He huffed back teasingly, a little hum escaped as she kissed over where she nipped him. He continued to run his fingers through her hair, not wanting to get up just yet. After a moment, he shifted away from her "I'll be right back" He told her softly, giving her a gentle kiss on the lips before standing up and walking to the counter to ask for a bag to put the leftover food in.

"Alright." Mercy nodded lightly, pressing her lips to his lightly and then settling down as she waited for him to come back. She watched him move in relative silence, clasping her hands in her lap.

Kennedy returned with a singlular huge bag. He wrapped the sandwhichs in the paper they had come with before placing them in the bag. Then he grabbed the grapes placing them in the bag as well. As for the sweet tea he couldn't do much about it so he just left them where they were. "You ready to go, darling?" He asked her softly, reaching out a hand for her to take

Mercy tried to help him with it, but he seemed to have it all covered. "I'm all good." She nodded, flashing a smile and grabbing his hand as she stood. She lightly lifted his arm and tucked herself under it, keeping their fingers intertwined.

Kennedy smiled as she stood up and tucked underneath his arms. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze "Well then let's go" He said, leading her out of the cafe and across the street where Monty was tied up

"Yes, sir." Mercy chuckled, moving eagerly with him and returning the gentle hand squeeze. She let go of him so he could get on Monty, humming softly.

Kennedy hopped up on Monty, securing the bag to the saddle so that he could steer. He then held out a hand for Mercy to help her on.

Mercy grabbed his hand lightly and pulled herself up almost effortlessly. She pressed close against his back, wrapping her arms tightly around him and settling her head against his shoulder as she closed her eyes.
