Sage nodded with a sort of hum when att decided to pull the colt to a slower pace and helped him undo the tack they'd used. "just do a little bit of this every day, and I'll be back soon enough. We can start getting him used to an actual saddle," he chirped. He was probably just as excited about all this as att was, and the colt was doing really quite well. He supposed the mild temperament was helpful. "yeah, she's stopping by," he noted. "mari said you'd be welcome to tag along too," he added with a shrug.

The boy hummed in agreement before shrugging. The colt really was good minded... like actual Luther, he supposed. He did miss the man. He'd been very much like a father to him, and although he was only young when he passed, he still... knew something was wrong. He didn't think anyone actually told him that the man had died, either. He boy nodded in agreement... they still had a long while until they could get on the horse, but he supposed getting him used to tack and the likes would be good. He started brushing the young horse off before raising a brow at him. "I'm good. I don't particularly like it outside here," he mused jokingly.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to the boys comments. "that's fair," he noted lightly. "I don't much like leaving my home either," he admitted with a sort of shrug, working on the colts other side happily. Soon enough, they were done, and sage pulled a carrot out of his pocket for Luther, letting the colt munch on it happily. "I'm gonna go bother Anya and drag her off to socialize," he mused lightly in an amused tone of voice, patting the colt bye and clapping att on the shoulder in a farewell. "I'll see you soon, yeah," he mused before wandering back off to find Anya.

(Getting on a flight on Saturday, so should be on more hopefully lol) the boy hummed in amusement before patting the colt and sort of wandering along next to him into the caste. He nodded in agreement after a moment and sort of shrugged again with a smile. "I'll see you?" He chirped lightly before wandering off. Anya was wandering around her room tidying up and cleaning herself to get ready. She was excited to get out the castle, albeit a little bit nervous.

(lol alr! You're all good) Sage have the boy a grin and a nod, patting him on the back before they parted ways. "I'll be around," he'd noted before moving to knock on Anyas door and poke his head in after a moment. "Ready," he chirped lightly, head cocked slightly in curiosity. "Mari will probably have dinner about ready by now," he added with a sort of chuckle.

Anya glanced over at him when he wandered in, and sort of shrugged quietly. "I suppose I'm ready," she mused before standing up and wandering over him. "Last chance to say no to me coming," she warned with a small chuckle. She was excited, she supposed... to get out the castle, do something different for once.. it wasn't something she did all that much anymore. She smiled at him after a moment before wandering out the door. She did hope his wife would be okay with it. They didn't get along all that well, but she also knew sage wouldn't have her over if the woman wasn't ok with it.

Sage chuckled softly in response to the woman's comments, pecking her cheek in a brotherly fashion. "don't worry, I can put up with you for dinner," he teased lightly, leading uer down and out the door, where chaos and the carriage was patiently waiting. The stallion was rather used to the castle of course, as people coming and going, so he sort of flicked a happy set of ears towards sage when they wandered back down to him, ready to go.

The woman gave a happy little smile at his tease before smiling and moving to to settle down in the carriage once they'd gotten outside. She was a little nervous... excited all the same, but it had been a while since she'd been anywhere, really. She was still sort of stressed out as well; so she hoped that didn't show up too much during the dinner. She glanced over at the man as they traveled, a little smile crossing her face. She was lucky he'd come back to see her... she knew she wasn't ina good place. She knew she needed the support, even if she didn't want it, and he was one of very few people who gave that to her.

Sage just grinned back over at the girl, climbing into the carriage and letting chaos take them briskly home. He wasn't too worried about running him down with two trips to and from the castle....the horse had more than enough energy for that. Soon enough they'd arrived at the house, and he helped her down from the carriage before unhitching chaos and letting him loose in the side yard quickly, so as not to make Mari wait. He made his way towards the door then happily, showing Mari inside. The kids ran up to them right away, Silas practically jumping into his arms and Liz greeting him happily before looking at Anya with wide eyes. "You're my favorite hero of all the stories Daddy tells us," she chirped, tugging at Maris skirts gently. "Will you come sit by me at dinner," she asked, almost shyly.

Anya sort of wandered along next to him happily when they got out the cart. She looked at the house with a cocked ber while he unchinched the horse and gave a small hum. "This is cute," she mused lightly in reference to the house. It suited him, she supposed. When he wandered inside, she followed along closely. She jumped a little when they got ambushed by children, but smiled softly as she watched the little family interact. It really was sweet. She glanced down when she felt Liz tugging on her dress, hee brows pinching together. She'd never really been very good with children... Atticus had been proof of that, but she supposed if the girl wanted to sit with her that was fine. "Of course I'll sit with you," she chirped in what she hoped to be a friendly manner. She had to admit, it was amusing being called a hero in any form. She'd barely done much.
