Sage nodded lightly, pecking her head and then chuckling softly in response to her next comment. "You're welcome," he hummed. "Though you're my wife so you're quite entitled to that whenever you feel like it," he pointed out, an easy grin lingering on his face.

Sage kissed her back lightly with a soft hum and nod. "Of course," he chirped, then glanced over at the book she had. "Anything interesting,* he asked, jerking his head in the direction of it.

Sage hummed softly and nodded. "Well, at least we know how you're able to have kids," he murmured softly.

Sage frowned after a moment. "It does make me wonder who that Melissa was," he murmured. "The empress seemed...scared about it. Enough to seek me out and send her best assassin after me and my daughter."
