Max smiled and turned on one of their favorites giving Charlie a couple of fries to try as they watched. As Charlie munched on her fries she babbled happily chewing the soft food her mother had given her in the midst of her babble Maxine paused the movie "Tell me you heard that..." She chuckled looking at him then over at Charlie "Give it a second..." She murmured watching Charlie "Da-da..." it was garbled but that was definitely what she heard... "Did you catch it that time!?" She chirped. |

Sage whipped his head around with a wide grin when he heard the girl's little babble. "I most certainly did,* he cooed happily. Suddenly, he had all the energy in the world...he could hardly contain himself. Charlie's first word was, well, her version of dad. He wasn't sure he'd felt this happy other than maybe when Max said yes to his proposal, or maybe their wedding. |

Max laughed and scooped Charlie up happily "Good job Charlie you said dada!" She laughed Charlie laughing happily "Da-da!" She squeaked seeing to understand that's what her parents liked "Yeah that's Dada..." She said pointing to Sage with a laugh handing her to him. |

Sage laughed along with Max and gladly took his daughter from Max's arms to grin at her. " Who's dada," he asked in a playful tone of voice and the girl babbled out another dada, much to his (and probably Max's) delight. He hugged the girl and kissed her head before letting her go finish eating, though she of course stayed close by him. He looked over at Max, eyes shrinking, and couldn't help but plant a kiss on his wife's lips. |

Max laughed as Charlie let out some very hysterical laughter before she babbled out Dada once again Max cheered and laughed kissing Charlie's temple "Good job Charlie!" She cooed happily as the little girl was put down. When they'd settled down Maxine giggled and kissed her husband back "That was really something wasn't it?" She asked happily. |

Sage giggled and nodded, a wide grin still on his face. "Her first word," he hummed. "And now I'm dada," he chuckled. It wasn't the normal word for dad, but he didn't really care. He was proud of Charlie all the same, and he was very excited for her first word to be...well, his name. He'd known she was a daddy's girl, but he hadn't quite expected that. But he was very, very happy that's how it had turned out. "Our son has to have a first word of momma now," he hummed in a rather amused tone of voice. |

Max laughed at him "You've always been Dada to her... now she can say it." She giggled "Plus Dada is easier for her to pronounce at the moment." She told him with a laugh hugging him "I'm so proud of her." She chirped. When she heard him mention a son she looked at him curiously "You're sure you still want to?" She asked him looking up at him "I know you're nervous..." |

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Me too," he hummed. Then he sighed and nodded. "I think it would be nice, if you want to," he admitted. "If anything goes wrong, though, that's it." He pressed a kiss to her cheek and rested his head on her shoulder. "What happened last time won't happen again...that's why I'm willing to try. That, and you want it too, and it would be good for Charlie to have a playmate." He chuckled slightly. "Maybe she'll stop beating poor old dad up," he joked. |

Maxine gave a small nod "That's fair." She said hugging him "It was different last time... I was human carrying a half demon kiddo..." She reminded him "And everything happened way too fast for my human body to catch up with..." She pointed out giving a smile and laughing at him "No you'll have two kids to beat you up." She laughed wrapping her arms around his neck and looking at him pressing close "When would you like to start trying?" She asked him curiously looking up at him. |

Sage hummed in agreement and nodded, them groaned when she said they'd both beat him up. "That's so mean," he whined, though in an amused manner....he even chuckled as he said it. He wrapped his arms around the girl when she pressed up against him and pecked the tip of her nose. "Whenever you decide I'm not too broken for it," he chuckled, teasing the girl slightly about how protective she was. Of course, he liked it...it meant he could trust her. But he did want a son...it would be nice. Of course, another daughter would be nice too, if it turned out that way. |
