Liz came running back after a bit, squeaking somethyabouy a squirrel he saw. He nodded, listening politely before shushing her gently and shooing her inside. He was trying to be quiet, so as not to wake or disturb Elara.

(nah you're good lol) Sage settled Liz back into her own bed before letting himself flop back into the chair and drift off again. When he woke again, the sun was up, and so were the girls. He heard their voices outside, so he got up with a groan, running his hands along his face in order to try and wake up a bit more as he exited the cabin .

"Good, now try and get him to spin again," Elara instructed Liz, the girl doing so before frowning as Varys didn't spin but instead stared at the piece of jerky in her hand. "No, spin!" She tried to command, Varys halfway doing it as she clapped, giving him the piece. Elara glanced over and saw Sage walk out, smiling. "Good morning," She chirped, Liz now running around as Varys chased her, the girl giggling.

Sage chuckled softly when he noticed them playing with the wolf, leaning against a tree nearby and just watching for a few minutes. "Are they making you work for food now," he mused to the wolf. "What's a guy gotta do around here to be fed," he sighed dramatically, moving over towards Elara as Liz ran off with the wolf.

She chuckled, shrugging. "Liz insisted on teaching him tricks since she saw some kids in town making their dog do tricks, figured she could get him to, must've forgotten he doesn't give two shits." Elara mused, watching the two.

Sage chuckled softly with a nod. "He did it. Sort of halfway but he did it," he noted, sort of lowering himself to sit down next to her and lean against a tree with a sigh. "Once she makes up her mind there's no stopping her," he added with a shake of his head. "I rather pity the poor wolf."

She shifted closer to him when he sat beside her, smiling in agreement as she nodded. "She for sure is, once she decides something, it's settled, no changing it." Elara mused, looking over at him before back at the girl. "Poor guy, gotta work for food. Still can't believe he lashed out on her a while back." The woman noted, the topic reminding her to check on the wound from him, unwrapping her arm and analyzing it.

Sage humemd softly in agreement, a fond tone lacing his voice. When she mentioned the wolf lashing out, he sort of shrugged. "She was getting in his face," he pointed out. "I've had to stop and control myself with her too," he admitted. He didn't blame the wolf ...she'd probably accidentally hurt him, given the circumstances, and that was how he communicated with them. He'd never shows signs of being mean or aggressive before, so he wasnt too worried.

She nodded, agreeing as the sun rose. Elara noted Varys tensing, Liz still chasing him. "Liz!" The woman barked, the girl immediately stopping and looking over. "Stop, you're making him mad and he'll bite you." She called, Liz nodding as she waited, Varys walking back up, the girl scratching in between his ears.
