Sage hummed softly and gave her a grin when she mentioned the kids were good. "That's mostly thanks to you, you know," he hummed, giving her a bit of a squeeze. Of course, at her next comment, he gave her a sort of pout, though as he kept talking, that grew into more of a mischievous grin. "Why? You want me to keep doing it," he teased lightly, though they both knew they'd be more than happy to carry it all out if they really wanted to. He snorted softly at her comment about the apron, and gave her a wink. "Well, then you should like it more," he teased her. "I've seen the way you look at me," he added, still really just teasing but not opposed to anything either.

Mari gave a small chuckled in response to his comment, and moved to kiss his nose when he squeezed her. Their children being so good was definitely down to the both of them... she was just lucky she got to spend more time with them. She looked at him with a cocked head as though in thought before nodding slowly. "I mean, I liked the way it was going," she giggled playfully, an amused look across her face as she studied him for a moment. "The way I look at you?" She asked with a little bit of a laugh. "How exactly do I look at you? With all the love in the world," she asked with a chuckle as she went to pat his chest happily.

Sage sort of just laughed on response to her comment and shrugged. "Well if you'd like me to continue just say the word," he chirped before snorting softly in response to other comments. 'like I'm a piece of candy," he noted with a chuckle. "If I decided to wander around practically naked I don't think you'd mind all that much," he added with a soft laugh and amused shake of his head. "Though I suppose you do love me enough for that to show through," added, since it clearly did show in quite literally everything she did.

Mari cocked her head at him, a little grin crossing her face as she raised a brow. "I'd very much like you to continue," she grinned and pecked his lips with a hum. She snorted a little and gave a bit of a laugh when he said she looked at him like candy. "Sage you're much to bitter to be any sort of candy," she mused playfully. She then sort of cocked her head. "I wouldn't mind it. You wanna try," she chuckled with a playfully to him.

Sage sort of hummed as if in thought, grinning over at the girl in response to her comment, chuckling softly at her. "well I suppose I could do that," he hummed, moving to press a lingering kiss to her neck. "We might have to get off the couch to do anything though," he teased her, patting her back gently. Though, at her next comments he hummed slightly. "Are you sure the kids are asleep," he half crooned with a sort of chuckle.

Mari grinned over at him, a little hum escaping her when he kissed her neck. She groaned when he said they'd have to get off the couch, though just sort of moved to plop down next to him with a huff of complaint. She sort of let out a chuckle when he asked if the kids were asleep, and nodded before leaning over to press her lips lightly to his. "Kids are asleep," she mused softly, a giggle escaping her at the thought of one of them wandering down. "Hopefully, anyway," she mused.

Sage couldn't help but grin at her groan, though chuckled when she noted the kids were hopefully asleep. "Well, if they're not I might blind them for life," he joked, though in all reality it was best to do anything like that behind a closed, and locked, door. Neither of the kids would necessarily understand anything, but they still didn't need to walk in on them being naughty. It certainly wouldn't help anything, not to mention force a stop to it all. Which wouldn't be the preferred option. "Well maybe I'll be nice in the bedroom then," he noted mischievously with a sort of shrug.

Mari couldn't help her mused chuckle at his comments. She's probably be mortified if something like that happened, but it sid amuse her... just a little. She hummed after s moment and sort of moved to press a light kiss to his chin. "As stunning as you are babe, I'm sure the kids wouldn't need to see it," she mused playfully. They'd probably be a little bit scarred, but the thought still amused her a little bit. She hummed softly before moving to peck his lips again when he mentioned going to the bedroom, and sort of hopped up and offered him her hands with a giddy grin.

Sage chuckled lightly in response to her comment about the kids and nodded, rather amused by the whole conversation. "No, I don't suppose they would appreciate it very much," he noted with a laugh and shake of his head. Though, when she offered him her hands, he took them with a grin, letting her tug him along to the bedroom and pressing a lingering kiss to her lips once they had both flopped down onto the bed having reached their bedroom.

Mari gave a little grin after a moment, though when he took her hands she pecked him on the nose before moving to pretty much drag him along with her towards the bedroom. She quickly shut the door behind her before bouncing over to the bed, and quickly kissed him back when he settled on the bed next to her. An excited giggle escaped her after a moment, and sort of slipped a finger through his belt loops before tugging him in a bit more, quickly locking lips with him again. They both knew they didn't really have to do any of this... but it was nice just to mess around a little.
