Sage took a while to fall asleep himself....his mind was racing, so despite being tired he didn't calm down enough for a while. Eventually though, he did drift into a light sleep, curled up on the chair like normal.

Finally did Elara drift off after a half hour of thinking, sleep finally claiming her mind as she pulled the blankets up higher.

Sage slept well, only waking up the next morning when Liz shook him, whispering something about needing to use the bathroom. He got up with a groan, and moved to unlock the door and let Liz outside so she could do... whatever she needed to do, he supposed.

Elara woke at the sound of them getting up, deciding to follow, appearing at his side. The moon shone brightly, casting the land in a bright light. "Nice night, huh?" She asked with a soft expression, glancing over at him.

Sage had chuckled softly when elara appeared at his side, squinting up at the moon, still pretty groggy himself. "Yeah," he noted. "Though I have to say I'd rather be in bed at.." he checked the time. "Two am than letting my daughter out to pee," he admitted with a chuckle

She chuckled, having not realized what time it was until he said so. "Well, get some rest afterwards, yeah?" Elara murmured, pecking his cheek as she turned back to go inside.

Sage hummed with a soft nod, giving her a grin as she slipped back inside. "I'll try to keep her quiet when she comes back in," he mused, waving a goodbye at her as she slipped back inside, faint smile on his face.

She giggled, nodding. "Please do, the other night I woke up to her stomping around trying to get the blanket off the ground." Elara mused, slipping the door shut as she walked back over to the bed, slipping under the sheets.

Sage chuckled softly with a nod. "Sounds like her," he sighed, though it was in a somewhat fond manner. "I'll warn her about not doing it again," he added, glancing back out at the forest to wait for his daughter to come back.

Elara stayed awake, honestly lost at what to even do at that point. She tossed and turned, eventually laying on her back and staring up at the ceiling, hands folded behind her head. She should go talk to him, say something. The woman gave up on the idea, too cowardly to go do so, laying back on her side as she attempted to drift off once more.
