The girl pouted slightly with a thoughtful looking finger on her chin. "You know Sage, I think I deserve more than to have to wait in a line for a bed in that tavern," she murmured with a light chuckle, to show she was only teasing, "but, if I had to wait in line you... I might not be past that." She smirked slightly, in a way that was sure to make him blush harder. Though it did hurt a little. Sage would never really hers because of his work at the tavern, just as she could never really be his because of Luther. Though she didn't want to think about that, not during this round of playful banter. She gave him a slight grin. "I could assume that it'll be easier for your girls in the tavern to make things more fun for you now that I've marked out guide lines." She teased, reaching forward and gently poking the newer mark she had left, just below his ear where she had found his sweet spot.

Sages face did indeed get redder as she teased him, though he did realize that she was being partly serious. His breath hitched when she touched his sweet spot, and he only blushed harder at that. Was a tiny touch all it took to get him like...this? All she did was poke him and his heart was speeding up. Would he be that responsive in the tavern? He hoped not...though with only one of him he wouldn't have to work in rooms as much as he used to. "Maybe, if I let a response come out," he giggled. He'd told Anya that he hadn't ever responded to another girl, and he hoped he could hold to that. It was almost a promise...if she wanted him he'd try to keep himself for her. He hadn't said that though, and she knew he needed to eat.

The girl gave a slight giggle before going to pick up another cracker, putting a thin cut of cheese on it before glancing back to him. "Mm, you should let a response come out," she cooed slightly, a grin forming on her face when she noted the slight change in his breath. "It's fun when you make noise," she girl crackled lightly. "You don't seem like the kind of person to get so into it, but Christ, Sage..." she trailed off with her grin only growing. She looked as though she were reminiscing for a moment. As much as she'd love to turn around and ask him to save herself just for her, she knew Sage had to feed himself somehow, and he couldn't do that unless he was getting paid... as much as it hurt, Anya would much rather he tried ti enjoy his nights in the tavern than anything else as difficult as that may be. Sage groaned with a chuckle, knowing she was only going to make his blush worse the more he teased her back. He was already a red as could be, after that little comment about him making noise. "Well I'm blaming that on you," he muttered playfully. "I highly doubt I'm going to get that into it with a stranger." But hey, if Anya liked it, he wasn't going to hold back with her....but the people at the tavern he could do without. He wished he could be only for Anya, and he might be able to get the extra stuff he needed by stealing something instead of working rooms. "I think I'd enjoy it much more if you just bribes the tavern owner your way to getting to the front of the line and picking your beside companion," he giggled.

The girl giggled slightly, "I could do that. I might have to steal you for the whole night though..." She gave him a stupid grin, her teasing only becoming more confident again. "Think you could handle that?" She joked before going to take another bite of the cracker. She made a slight face before taking a smaller bite. The cheese was a bit too rich still... damn it. She cocked her head at him, her eyes slightly squinted. "What makes you think I don't take full responsibility for the things that you said and did that night?" She purred smoothly. She then bit her lip, "Actually, you're partly to blame for the whole thing too you know." She murmured with a little giggle, "It takes two, Sage."

Sage giggled, a slightly sheepish grin on his face. "Maybe I'm just the helpless guy who can't help but fall for the pretty girl," he joked. Then he grinned and gave her a wink. "So you're gonna go a step up from the cave, then, huh," he teased. "I think I can do that," he giggled. His blush was still fully evident on his cheeks, and Anya's teasing only seemed to be getting stronger the more she got him flustered. He couldn't say he didn't like her teasing though, since everything they were joking about had potential to happen...she could sneak down to the tavern and have him to herself all night, and he'd be getting paid for his time with her...he didn't think it could get much better than that. Besides, a bed had to be better than the cave floor, he had to admit that one. Rock wasn't the most comfortable thing to lay on, though nothing was unpleasant about their night in the cave.

Anya grinned brightly, "Hm, no, you're the helpless guy who couldn't help but fall for the random girl trying to help him clean," she laughed, rolling her eyes slightly. It was a little strange. She wasn't sure why she had chosen to stay that night. She should have probably just gone back to the castle the moment she got bored... but she was glad she stayed. Or they might not be talking right then. "That helpless guy was pretty keen to get rid of me, despite trying to come across politely." She joked with a snicker. It was understandable. Anya had been rather annoying that night, and she knew it too. Sage probably should have kicked her out or asked her to leave. She still wasn't sure why he didn't. "You'll see me at the tavern at some point. There's a lot that could happen in one night. I can figure something out a little better than in the cave." She giggled brightly. Sage chuckled and shrugged. "Ok, you win. That was definitely an odd way to meet, I'll give it that. So I'm even weirder than the guy who falls for the pretty girl, especially since the girl helping me clean had no idea how to actually sweep the floor." The last part was teasing, calling her out on her bad cleaning habit. His blush had lessened but then came right back full force when she made her last comment. "Well then, I look forward to whatever you have planned," he giggled. They could always find a quiet place in the castle if she really wanted him while he was here, though she probably wouldn't bring that up. But if she did, of course he'd be more than fine with it.

Despite still being a little bit giggly, Anya knew exactly what she was saying... exactly what it all meant. "Yeah, a lot of guys just fall for a pretty girl. You though, you're enough of a weirdo to fall for a pretty girl who can barely use a mop." She chuckled slightly, switching from the chair to sitting on the side of the bed. "In my defense, I've never actually had to clean. I have people to do that." She shrugged, "And thank god for them because I'd probably be a very, very messy person if it wasn't for them. I'm not even sure why I offered to help you." The girl murmured with a wrinkled nose. She turned to look at him with a slight smile, "Probably because I'm the odd girl who falls for hot tavern boys." She noted with a softer snicker before taking his hand and placing a mocking kiss on his knuckles as she had done while out on their first few nights together. Sage chuckled and shook his head, amused. "Maybe you should learn sometime," he giggled. Then he made a face. "Or not. It's not really that fun," he admitted. He wasn't exactly the neatest person either...he had only been cleaning because he had to. Otherwise everything was covered in dirt, and he was completely fine with it. His blush came back full force when she mentioned she was the odd girl who fell for hot tavern boys. One, because he didn't think he was hot, and two, that Anya had just called him hot. They'd joked around about his rugged handsomeness, and she'd called him pretty in the cave, but hot was a whole new level. It was nice, admittedly, but he hadn't expected to ever hear those words come out of her mouth. And of course, the kiss didn't help the world cool down after her comment. But it was all appreciated all the same.
