Haha yeah, just a bit) Sage heard Quinn move around behind him, though he was zoning so he wasn't really paying attention to what she said. Or did. Or....well, he wasn't paying attention to much, really. He was completely lost in his own head ....which for once, wasn't a bad place to be. Normally all he saw and thought about were the bad things, but as of then he was daydreaming about his future with Quinn. Would she ever want children? Would they ever be able to?

Quinn finally let out a yelp, looking happy. "Aha, I found a rare species!" She crowed, looking pleased with herself. Quinn knew it really wasn't anything to freak out about, but her brain had been giving her enough trouble... it was nice to take her mind off of othet things and focus on the fish. "Brown bullhead aren't common anymore up here, and one just swam past." Quinn mused, almost to herself.

Sage half jumped when the girl started talking again, not having been spying much attention. He second comment sort of helped understand her yelp, since he hadn't quite heard the first part. He chuckled and looked down at the water, and he caught a glimpse of the fish, bobbing his head up and down in a nod. "Cool," he hummed happily.

Quinn glanced over at Sage. Oops... she had almost forgot he was sitting there. That wasn't good, was it? Quinn shook that thought out of her mind and smiled. "It really is cool, if you are as obsessed as I am with fish." Quinn chuckled, peering into the water again, her eyes narrowed slightly against the sun's glare. Now that her focus had been broke, though, she couldn't help but hear what Sage was thinking. Sheesh, sometimes he needed to just ask questions, because listening into those kinds of thoughts was kind of creepy. Quinn shut her mind and stared at the water, seeing small mouth bass... sunnies... nothern! Sunnies... MUSKY! Quinn got a little more excited at that one, because they usually didn't go in rivers

Sage ended up just watching the girl stare at the water, not really caring about the fish, but she was admittedly rather cute when she got that face ...the one she got when she was thinking without meaning too. Well, cuter than usual, he supposed...she managed to be both pretty and cute all the time. Eventually his mind wandered off again, though, wondering whether or not they could even physically have children, since half his genome was ...wall, wolf.

Quinn couldn't help but slightly listen in on Sage's thoughts. -I have to because he is too shy to speak- Quinn thought with a small smirk and she continued to count species. She really hoped to see an axolotl... but they were VERY rare. Endangered, even. Ooo that was a good question, could they actually have children? -Stop getting distracted- Quinn scolded herself, looking at the water again.

Sage sort of let his mind wander for a bit, not really paying attention to what he was thinking about. And as always, his thoughts eventually circled background to Quinn. He really did like the girl....and she'd saved him over and over again, really. He still really couldn't believe his luck at having her be his wife, rather than some old coon who hated him, but he certainly wasn't going to complain about it.

Quinn finally gave up on watching the fish after she counted over 150 sunnies. No, no, no... YOU try counting over 150 sunnies and then you can relate. *Sunny... ooo is that a northern!? Sunny... Muskie!? Sunny... sunny... pike? sunny...* You lose hope rather quickly. (Believe me, I've done it) Quinn then flopped back on her back and started counting bird species. eh, if the suff that swims gives you trouble revert back to the stuff that flies. Chicadee, chicadee, chicadee, chicadee. Quinn let out a small huff of air

Sage glanced over at Quinn when she let out a huff, cocking his head slightly in curiosity. "What's up," he hummed lightly, rolling over to sit up so he was facing the girl. He was still a bit wet, but the cool water on his arms and on his hair and face felt nice in the warm morning. Really, everything felt nice...he was an outdoorsy person, and he hadn't really been outside much, so it was nice to be out for a while.

"What's up? 3,537 chicadees." Quinn asnwered with a tiny smile, finally sitting up to look at Sage. "I don't think I'd make a very good bird watcher... or fish watcher. Sunny, chicadee. That's almost all I see." Quinn let out an exaggerated groan, but she was joking with that. She glanced up at the sky, hoping to see a woodpecker or eagle or something... but just seeing chicadees
