NoPe! It was uh- the revolutionary war one))She glanced around and watched him walk off. She bit her lip quietly, pondering how much it would hurt her ego to chase after him. Maybe she had had been a... small bit hot headed. She walked Aristotle after him, the sound of hooves on cobble making her approach very easy to hear. She cursed inwardly, but she was too committed, now. Edited at April 7, 2023 03:56 PM by Widow Valley Farms

Shit wait- yeah-)) Ethan glanced at his heels. Oh great she's following me. He narrowed his eyes and continued to walk toward his cabin in silence. For a minute. "Is it you or the horse that is following me?" He said in a sarcastic but humored tone. He didn't know what else to say.

"I dunno. Maybe a combination of both." She pulled up along side him. "Practicing?" She gestured to the bow, looking down at him. She tightened her grip on her reins slightly.

He refrained from looking up at her. He looked at the bow in his hand, slightly lifting it. "Yep. Have been for a little while now." He hesitantly added, "going for a stroll?" He wanted to touch his ribs to feel if they would hurt any more if he touched them. His archery stance had left his side with an ache.

"Yeah, thought it would be nice to calm down after... yesterday." She cleared her throat, glancing around for a topic change. A flyer caught her attention. "What this 'Sanctuary Soar Celebration' all about? Ive seen flyers for it everywhere."

He let a small smile cross his face. "The Soar? Oh yeah- that is soon," His face lit up and he looked at her. "A dragon event! It's our 35th decade celebration, an anniversary. Its basically a party and lasts somewhere around three days. Its always bigger on the tenth or fifth year but we do it every year or every other year. There are races, horse and dragon, archery, knife throwing, herding with the dragon dogs. Purely for entertainment." He was clearly excited. "Its next week I believe."

"Wow. Ill have to consider doing something, then." She tilted her head. "Its a big deal, I guess?" ((Ehah love how he neglected to mention the DANCE))

|

"As long as you can dance." He winked. He looked back at his path. "Yes, it is. We like our land." He chuckled, almost at his cabin.

"Me? I am a dancing QUEEN. I think the more valid question is whether YOU can dance. Also- where was a dance included in all of those festivities?" She grinned down at him, becoming rather awkwardly aware of how close they were coming to his cabin.

He rolled his eyes. "Of course I can dance, what are you talking about? I'm British! I just failed to mention a dance, thats all." He grinned and hopped up the step to his cabin, swinging the door open and leaning his bow inside it. He pulled off the quiver and set it beside the bow. "So just an evening ride?" He asked as he undid the bracer.
