(oooo go for it! Sage is pretty well latched on to her by now xD) Sage had slipped outside the cabin, closing the door softly behind him so he didn't wake up Liz or anything. Then he just settled on one of the chairs there, with a soft sigh, just relaxing into it. It had been an enjoyable day .. but it had been exhausting. Keeping up with Liz and dealing with getting food and everything they'd needed had worn him out a little bit. So it was nice to just sit and watch the forest and let his mind and bidy alike relax.

Elara glanced back and saw him walk out and sit on one of the chairs, standing and sitting in the one beside him. "Really enjoyed today, was fun to get out of the house." She mused.

Sage glanced over at elara when she came over, a smile lighting up his face. He nodded in response to her comment, humming softly in agreement. "It was wonderful," he agreed with a soft chuckle.

"Then again, anytime with you is enjoyable." She noted, not realizing what she said until a moment later. "Shit, did not mean to say that out loud." Elara muttered

Sage had felt a flush cross his cheeks in response to her comment, but when she cursed he shook his head with a grin. "Nope, can't take it back now," he chirped lightly. "Besides, I feel the same way," he added, voice softer this time.

Elara sighed, yet a grin crept on her face. "You're terrible," She teased, laughing before hearing what he said and quieting. "Wait. . . you do?"

Sage snickered softly at her complaint, though when she stopped and asked if he'd meant it, he nodded, a soft smile lingering on his face. "Of course I do," he noted. "You're a wonderful woman. Anyone should be happy to be able to get to know you," he added.

She smiled warmly, glad he thought so. "Honestly, you're just about the best man i've ever known. All the others are arrogant, or their ego is too high and think they're better than everyone else. You're quite the opposite of arrogant, and to me it seems you don't see people as higher or lower than others, but equal." Elara noted

Sage humemd softly. "You grew up in a castle, with nobles," he pointed out. "They all have egos bigger than their estates." He shrugged. "When you grow up with nothing, you're equal to everyone around you. You're all just fighting to survive," he added. "And we pretty much all agree that the nobles could stand to be knocked down a peg or two," he mused with a grin. "But thank you," he added after a moment, realizing that it was probably supposed to be a compliment.

She chuckled at his comment, acting mock offended as she put a hand to her chest. "Are you saying I have a big ego?" Elara joked
