"I don't know if I can ever be normal for you..." He said, the tears continuing. "I'm never going to be enough. Never. I'm so fucking stupid and worthless. Just like my parents said!"

Morgan moved quickly onto the other side of the bed, and sat cross-legged next to him. She looked so worried - she didn't know what this was all about. She ran her fingers through his hair, and gently wiped his tears from his cheeks. "Caleb, I just want you. You don't need to be normal, you're absolutely perfect just as you are," she whispered softly, her fingers still in his hair. She leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead. "And you're enough. You're more than enough! You're so smart, brave, kind, thoughtful..." she paused, giving him a look. "And you're so worth it. You mean everything to me, please don't ever think anything different," she added, drawing in soft breath. "Where has this come from? Has someone said something?" She asked softly.

"Out loud...no...Mentally...yes."

Morgan looked worried for a moment, then nodded gently, sort of moving to rest her back on the head board and patted her lap for him to rest his head on. "Well... what are the saying?" She asked softly.

"Just how you could do so much better than me....a tragic mess..."

Morgan sighed, and gave him a sympathetic look. "Caleb, babe," she whispered, thinking over her words tiredly before rubbing her nails up and down his neck softly. "Maybe I could do better - but I love you. You're the only person I've ever wanted, and..." she paused for a moment, then gave him a gentle smile. "And Caleb, it's not up to you to decide who I'm in love with. And you certainly don't get to talk shit about the one person I love more than anyone, okay? So tell those dumb voices to shut up and give the girl that loves you some attention?" She asked with a soft chuckle.

Caleb nodded, taking her into his arms and in his lap as he buried his face in her neck. He grabbed a blanket and coccooned them both together. Sighing, he held her close and lightly pressed a kiss to her neck

Morgan smiled softly when he scooped her up, and instinctively wrapped her arms around him. She buried her nose into his neck, resting her a hand into his shoulder and her thumb drawing soothing circles on his skin. "Caleb, you know I love you right?" She asked softly, looking up at him. "Nothing will change that. I'm with you because I'm in love with you, just as you are. If you get better, that's great, but if you stay this way for the rest of your life, just know I'll care about you all the same, yeah?" She asked, resting her head in his shoulder.

Caleb slightly nodded, falling back wards onto the bed and holding her tighter against him. God, she was so amazing. Kind, sweet, caring, loving, compassionate, selfless.

Morgan fell back with him, holding herself closer to him. She kept her nose buried into his shoulder, and let out a soft breath. He didn't deserve to feel like this - like he wasn't good enough. She loved him so much, just as he was.
