Amira woke at around 1am and couldn't fall asleep. She sighed and gently got up, hoping to not wake Sage. She kissed his cheek and laid a blanket over him before going to the bar and opening her phone. She thought about eating something since she hadn't done that in a bit. No, i'll be fine. Work is gonna be hell, though. She thought, just silently doomscrolling Tiktok

Sage stayed asleep for a while, though eventually he did stir. He sighed when he saw her awake and wrapped the blanket around himself, wandering over to her. "You alright," he sort of hummed, sitting down next to her

"I'm fine" She said, half-lying to not worry him

Sage hummed softly and nodded. "Just wanted to make sure," he hummed softly. "Need anything before I go pass out again," he asked, not minding getting up to check in at all.

Amira shook her head, setting down her phone

Sage nodded and pecked her head lightly before moving to get up. "If you need anything come get me," he noted softly before moving to go crawl up and into their bed, passing out again pretty much right away.

Amira knew she would need a high school diploma to get into college, but she'd always been pretty smart and known all the right answers. She opened her phone again and looked at the tests you can take to pass high school

Sage slept for another few hours, but when he woke up again he figured it was early enough he'd just...get up. He got ready and then wandered downstaris, greeting Amira lightly.

Amira was very tired, but went upstairs to change before work. She smiled softly at Sage in response, unable to really form words as she got dressed and ready for the day. She didn't eat, and went to grab her keys

Sage watched her trudge around and frowned slightly. "Maybe you should take a sick day," he suggested. "I don't want you to get hurt because youre tired and something happens," he added gently
