Ajax pretty much just ambled into the room, not really moving at a lightning fast pace. "You are silly." He teased with a shake of his head at Mercy's exuberant behavior. It would be nice to sleep in a real bed for the first time in a long time. He had never expected this time would come, dead or not. Truthfully, Ajax was probably just as happy as Mercy, he just didn't show it. "I'm glad you're happy." He said quietly after slipping under the covers, smiling at Mercy a little. "And I promise, I am too, but my manly body cannot contain excitement the same way yours can so I would probably explode." He joked with a grin,

"I'm not silly! I'm happy." Mercy corrected, grinning at him as he slipped under the covers. She tilted her head at his words, cuddling up to him as he continued. She rested an arm lightly over his chest, setting her head on his shoulder as she laid on her side. She chuckled at him for his next words, just short of giggling. "Ah, alright. I'll keep that in mind." She chuckled.

Ajax couldn't help but marvel at Mercy's unlimited exuberance. She had altogether WAY too much energy, in his opinion, but he did understand. It was an amazing thought that an Angel and a Demon could get married. Especially one's with such different personalities. "Okay. You are happy." He copied the way she said it, grinning. "Good. Just keep in mind I never lack your happiness." Ajax laughed a little, closing his eyes for a moment.

"I love you, my little sarcastic demon." Mercy rolled her eyes, pressing a kiss to his cheek and then settling down. She closed her eyes slowly, finally attempting to wind down for sleep as she curled up to him. "Goodnight, Ajax." She said softly, letting out a small sigh.

"I love you too, my- wait what? Little? Coming from Miss I'm-a-foot-shorter-than-the-person-I-just-called-little?" Ajax let out a snort, though afterward he finally let himself fully relax. "Goodnight, Mercy." Ajax replied in the same tone, lightly teasing, but soon he drifted off. The next morning he awoke to the bright sun shining through the windows. It pretty much blinded him. Ajax hadn't moved an inch all night- he definitely did not roll around when he slept- but now he rolled over slightly with a small groan to get away from the glare of light. However, he was already awake so it didn't help much. Sliding out of bed silently, and hoping Mercy was still asleep, Ajax walked into the next room and yawned, waking up very slowly. Not that his brain ever functioned, but he knew he wouldn't fully be awake till around 12. Glancing at the clock, Ajax saw it was already 9... he had slept in. Maybe it was because he was so comfortable. A refreshed feeling of jittery happiness settled in the back of his mind as he thought about the ring on Mercy's finger and how he was getting MARRIED to the BEST PERSON EVER. With that thought, he grabbed some bacon and toast and started heating up the stove. Everyone liked awakening to the smell of bacon, right? Or at least a hot breakfast. Getting coffee brewing for himself, and possibly her if she liked it... wait, wow. Ajax felt weird knowing that he didn't know his fiance's favorite breakfast drink. That was absolutely pitiful.

Mercy stirred and let out a small, displeased noise in her sleep as Ajax slipped away, but she didn't quite wake up. She curled up a little more, waking up about fifteen minutes later to no Ajax and the smell of food. Her feelings were bittersweet really. She slid out of bed, rubbing at her eyes and slipping out of the bedroom to see him busy in the kitchen. She gave a hazy grin, glancing at the ring on her finger and feeling the burst of giddiness all over. She was getting married to the man of her dreams. She walked lightly up beside him, hopping up to sit on the counter. "What's for breakfast, fiance?" She teased.

Man of her dreams, eh? That's highly shocking lol) +++ Ajax did not happen to hear Mercy get up, because he was a little busy trying not to burn the bacon- his stove was temperamental. It never seemed to want to hold a temperature. After the loud sizzling stopped, just in time to avoid being startled he heart soft footsteps. "Well on any normal day I would tell you to use your eyes, but since I am in a good mood... bacon and toast. I made coffee for myself but there's plenty... and there's milk in the fridge." Ajax teased back at first, but he still felt a little sheepish about not knowing what she'd like to drink. After informing her of something that wasn't 100 percent neccasary, he turned off the stove and took the bacon off. At that moment the toaster popped, so he grabbed the toast, grabbed butter out of the fridge, snatched two plates, and put it all on the small table. She has unconventional dreams, okay? XD Alright!)) Mercy chuckled at him. "Well, aren't I lucky you're in a good mood, then?" She teased, tilting her head down at him as he continued. "Sounds lovely. I'd be down to get some coffee." She said lightly, not disturbed by the fact he didn't know her preference. While he went about taking things to the table, she grabbed herself a cup of coffee. She poured in a rather large amount of creamer, but shh, that isn't important. She took her more-creamer-than-coffee concoction to the table and sat down, offering him a grateful smile. "You didn't have to do all this. Thank you."

(XDDDD) Ajax nodded slowly, his eyes twinkling. "I guess you are." He replied in the same joking manner. After she had grabbed her coffee he poured some for himself, then... put hot chocolate in instead of creamer. "You need to try this. Honestly, it is way better than any creamer." He grinned, going to sit down at the table as well and immediately sipping his strange drink, not caring it was steaming hot. As she spoke again he tilted his head, looking at the bacon then back at Mercy. "Well, I did have to eat, but you're welcome." Ajax smiled a little, grabbing the knife and quickly buttering his toast. After breakfast was over he started washing everything, feeling much more awake.
