Regan groaned to Tyler before shaking her head at him. Well... she knew... she just wanted to see if he was actually conscious. Well, that was what she was convincing herself now. She felt stupid now that he'd pointed that out. She frowned quietly, though. "I... suppose..." she whispered quietly before sighing. She hoped so. She wanted to be helpful to some extent. Tyler had been more than kind when she'd first met him, even if she had been horrible... and she supposed, as long as this guy wasn't going to hurt her or Tyler, then she supposed she didn't want to make him unwelcome, not at all. She jumped when she heard a voice, and glanced to Tyler before realising the voice had actually came from this dude. She looked back to Tyler with a bit of a frown. "What the hell is wrong with you?" She asked with a frown. Though, the guy on the floor didn't seem to care. He looked like he was about to go to sleep again, actually. "Excuse me... who are you, exactly? Do you need us to help you get back?" Maybe... maybe he came from a group. With other people. People who weren't like the ones they'd just left. . The young man looked between the two people, his head lifting ever so slightly with a bit of a pained groan as another pillow was slipped behind him... he had to admit, that was a little bit better on his back to have less pressure on it. He just stared at the guy who was on the chair, too out of it to notice the sarcasm. He nodded a bit of a thanks. "Jaxon... or Jax... whatever you'd prefer," he told the two quietly as he seemed to think curiously. "I'm... not sure. My camp isn't far, I don't think," he answered cautiously. He didn't want to give these people the location of his camp... he didn't need to be worrying that once he went back, that they'd come and attack him or something. Actually, it was kind of stupid for these two to have let him in. "And you are..?"

Tyler's brain was working on high drive now, up to the manual transmission 6th gear. Aaand that got him starting to think about trucks. -I don't know why they came out with automatic transmissions, if you can't push a clutch and shift into a gear you shouldn't be driving anyway- Tyler thought grumpily, though he managed to tear his brain off of that when Regan snapped at him. "A lot." He answered, his eyebrows furrowing a little bit again as he looked at the now very conscious man. Tyler listened to what he said, actually quite pleased at how the person didn't just spew out important information like exactly where his campsite was. -He must be thinking we are idiots- Tyler thought with a pang of anger. "Someone not important. I'll be right back." Tyler answered the guy's question gruffly, directing his second sentence at Regan before disappearing outside. Tyler gathered up some of the rotton nets and brought them back in, putting them in a corner on the floor.

Regan rolled her eyes at Tyler... she wasn't exactly upset or anything. She was just a bit frustrated that someone needed help, and he was being rude about it... and she didn't know why. This wasn't even his cabin, so he wouldn't be too upset at all. And, after all, he'd helped her, had he not? So why was he so upset about helping someone else. "Clearly," she grumbled back to him. She didn't mean it... and there wasn't actually anything wrong with him. She was just a bit annoyed, was all. She nodded and watched him walk off. She huffed and rolled her eyes once more. "I'm Regan. That grump is Tyler," she told him with an amused huff, but it was a little bit forced. She picked up the water and told the man to sit up, helping him up into the chair before handing it to him. "I don't know what you're doing here, but you can stay until you're ready to leave, if you'd like. Not that there's much space or anything. . Jax looked from the other man then back to the girl who seemed to be fussing over him. She didn't seem to be trying to harm him at all, so he let her help him up and took the water. She needed to be more in guard. He didn't need to be fussed over like this. "Nice to meet you," he murmured hesitantly before sipping on the water. He didn't know what was wrong with the other dude. He was a bit more guarded, he supposed. He just nodded, his expression still a little bit blank. This person- she talked too much, and the other person wasn't speaking enough. It make him a bit of edge. "That's very kind of you," he noted simply before looking toward the guy as he walked back in. He didn't agree, though... he wasn't sure if these people were on the same page or not.

Tyler finally decided to stop acting like the weird black werewolf that didn't speak and stood all the time, though he was still a bit tense. He sat down in the chair and waited, thinking. That guy could do anything to Regan.. -His name is Jaxon- Tyler reminded himself. What if Jax had a hidden dagger somewhere? -Unlikely, he looks a bit dazed- Tyler thought sarcastically. Ouch... each of Regan's blows still felt like another smack to the back of the head. Clearly there was something wrong with him, he was such a big grump. -Sorry for trying to protect you and having a little backstory to go along with my wariness- Tyler thought with a slight huff. Agh why was Regan offering to let Jaxon stay. WHY. Tyler decided not to speak and started sewing up the nets again, trying not to let his hands shake like they did when he was feeling strong emotions.

Regan watched Tyler from the corner of her eye, kind of s bit concerned he'd either pull out a dagger to hurt this guy or somehow hurt himself. He wouldn't hurt her, she didn't think, but he was in a bit of an odd mood, and she wasn't sure how to deal with him like this. She knew he'd had it rough in the past, but she couldn't figure out why he was so weary as of then. They could both look after themselves well enough, that if anything did happen, they'd be alright. She looked back to the guy - Jax, with s bit of a hum. "You don't have to, of course, but I'd feel better letting you out if you'd have your wits about you," she then added carefully. She looked back to Tyler for a moment... they needed to talk for a moment or two. She needed to apologise - he didn't need her demeaning him or making him feel bad about himself after everything. "I'm going to make some food, I take it you're going to want some energy," she then told Jaxon. She waited for a reply before wandering to Tyler with a more concerned look. "Come help me cook, will you?" She asked quietly. . Jaxon just kind of shrugged, holding onto the glass like it was saving his life. Of course, he was starving, and of course, he'd appreciate staying somewhere safe until he could get himself back to his camp. He just nodded. This girl seemed a bit... forceful. He didn't really feel like he had much of a choice in the matter. But, whatever. He could stay until he felt well enough to move. He nodded to the idea of food, and leaned on the arm rest while he waited.

*A bit... forceful* describes Regan well lol. If Tyler wasn't jealous or wary I think Jax and him would get along great XD) - Tyler started thinking about how he just needed to calm down. Regan and him were probably polar opposites... so they each needd a little bit of each other's personalities. Tyler needed to be a little more.. socially active. Good at speaking. Not so wary. Regan needed to be a little more drawn back, a little more wary. -I still think Regan is way better then I am, though- Tyler thought grimly, glancing at Jax before standing as Regan spoke to him. "Sure." Tyler answered, striding over to where the counter was in the other room. "A question and a comment... what are we eating, because you better not have got my hopes up just to talk to me, and Regan.. I'm not angry or sad or thoughtful about anything you said. It's fine, I'm fine." Tyler held up a hand as he spoke, sighing slightly. "I am sorry I'm a bit wary... perhaps too much so. I can be rude. It's just the way I learned, and I do try to help with that." He added with a glance at her, his dark eyes watching Regan carefully.

(Yeah, she's not very good at letting people do their own thing, lmao. She doesn't mean it, though aha) Regan smiled quietly to him before wandering towards the kitchen area. Well... she had pulled him aside to talk, but she was also hungry to make some food. "I... well, yeah," she chirped to him with a bit of a sheepish laugh. "But I do want to talk too... so we can cook and talk," she murmured, not really wanting to look at him... she felt bad. She'd done something horrible by talking to him the way she had, and he didn't deserve it, like at all. "Grab me some stream, we can make a stew so it's easier for him to eat," she told the boy quietly before starting to heat the pan. "But really, I didn't mean anything, nothing is wrong with you," she murmured as she went through her drawers to grab some more little bits and bobs. . Jax sat quietly for a little while... he was a bit uncomfortable. Not just because he was in pain, but also because these two people felt like they were about to bicker about him, and he wasn't overly impressed with that idea. Were they like... siblings or something? They didn't look like it. They didn't talk to each other like that, but he was just a little bit confused about their relationship. They were different, and he'd been here for all of ten minutes and he could tell that. He was kind of just waiting for one of them to blow up.

I'm assuming by *grab me some stream* she meant water... so correct me if I get this wrong XD)) - Tyler studied Regan carefully, feeling a little bad at the way he had been acting. He had taken it upon himself to listen to what she said, so he had to do that. Tyler hated fighting with Regan, ad would do anything he could to avoid that. "Okay then." he said simply, going to her comment and getting some water in a pot. "Even if you didn't mean anything, there is really something seriously wrong with me." Tyler barked a small laugh, shaking his head a little. "I understand you didn't mean any harm, and you didn't harm me in any way, so don't worry about it." He finished lightly

(Yeah! I don't know where stream came from lmfo) . Regan frowned lightly to him... she still felt bad. She had just been excited to have someone else there with her... but she had Tyler, and he had her, too. She shouldn't have been so thrilled about someone she'd never even met, not when Tyler was right there and obviously concerned about it. She hated that he genuinely believed that something was wrong with him, too. "You done believe that, do you?" She asked quietly. "You've been through a lot.. and you're so strong for still being here with me. You didn't deserve what happened to you, and there absolutely nothing wrong with you... it's just how you grew up," she murmured quietly to the boy. But, he said not to worry. So she needed it trust him, just a little bit.

-There's another thing Regan needs from me- Tyler thought cheerily. The ability to... let go. His problem: when he said something hurtful he felt bad afterward because the person sulked about it. Her problem: when she said something hurtful she clung onto it and kept feeling bad, even if the other person didn't care. At Regan's words Tyler glanced at her with a puzzled expression. "Yes, I kind of do believe that. I'm not kidding when I say my brain was literally messed up somehow." he answered with a tilt of his head, getting the water boiling before cleaning various things. At her second sentence Tyler literally laughed, stopping what he was doing. "See, there's your loophole." He chuckled. "If my brain wasn't messed up and if I wasn't crazy... I wouldn't be here." Tyler teased with a slight grin, going back to whatever he had been doing... which he honestly forgot, so he kinda just stood there for a moment.
