Mari sort of scoffed at him and moved to press a light kiss to his lips. "I don't know about you babe, but I often don't spend my days getting suffocated by my wife," she mused. "I also don't use the word still in trot of my compliments but that's just details," she mused lightly to him. She kind of got into the centre, and it was sort of late so it was pretty empty with just s few people in the stalls and likes. "Mkay, what are we wanting?" She asked happily, sort of letting go of his hand andnleanijfninnhuk

Sage had hummed happily in response to her comment, grinning over at her once she'd kissed him. "I dunno, it's got it perks," he mused, really still just messing around. Though, at her next comment, he shrugged with an amused look on his face. "Fine, you've always been just as sexy as you are now, is that better," he teased lightly, shrugging when she asked what he wanted. "Oh, I don't care. Something sweet," he hummed, sort of shifting to keep her on his blind side and following her by lsitening to her footsteps and voice. He'd gotten rather good at that over the years of gettign used to the blindness.

Mari sort of rolled her eyes at him before giving a grin. "That's better. See, when you're nice to me you're more likely to get things out of me," she mused to him lightly before sort of having a looking at the menus. "Okay. Go wait for me on the bench," she chirped as she ran up to one of the stands. She soon enough came back with a bunt cake, much the same as she one they'd gotten out on their firsts date.

Sage had snorted but laughed all the same in response to her comment, just giving the girl a grin. "You're awful," he chuckled lightly, but nodded when she told him to go wait. He wandered over to the beach, waiting for her before she appeared with the little cake in hand. He chuckled when he saw it, grabbing the fork she handed him and moving over on the bench for her as she moved to sit next to him.

The woman just pouted at him and moved to plop down next to him as they smacked on the cake, a hint of small smile across her face. She looked over at him after a moment and sort of bumped his side with a grin, for no other reason than she wanted to. She supposed she was more energetic than normal... or maybe this is how she normally was. She loved their life now, but something in her just wished they could go back to the way things were when they'd first met. It was only passing thought though, as when she looked over at him all she could do with grin.

Sage had blinked over at the girl with a grin when he felt her bump his side, chuckling slightly as he tugged her into his side a bit more with the arm that he'd looped around her when she'd first sat down next to him. It was nice....they both seemed to have plenty of energy, and the whole day had been a blast. He missed having time to mess around the two od them. He loves the kids, of course, but he also loves this. To just relax, he and Mari, like it was before. It really was all so lovely.

The woman gave a small chuckle when he tugged her in, sort of leaning on his side in a sort of half hug. She finished off a bit of the cake and left the rest of Sage to finish before pecking his cheek. The weather was still nice, it was light out and it was later in the day so it was quietening down. Sage seemed a little bit happier than normal, too. She wasn't sure how to put it, but he wasn't as bubbly as he used to be, not for a long time now, but he seemed a little bit... brighter today. "Are you wanting to just go home? Or what?" She asked him gently, a little smile across her face.

Sage had just grinned over at the girl when she leaned in happily, finishing off the cake before tossing it into the trash can that was nearby their bench. He hummed in though in response to her comment before shrugging. "We can just stay here for a while," he mused after a moment, titling his head back to take in a deep breath of the fresh evening air, which was cooling down into night air, closing his eyes as he did so, just content to relax there with Mari. He hadn't known how much he'd missed being out here and about ...he didn't want to go home quite yet.

The woman gave a small nod to him after a moment before resting her head back on his shoulder. She sort of missed going out and doing little things like this. It was just a change of scenery, she supposed. She sort of shifted and moved to rest her feet up on the bench. They had time to chill out for a while, she supposed. "How log do you want to be out here for?" She asked with an amused sort of chuckle.

Sage had opened his eyes to glance over at the girl and shrugged. "I don't know," he mused. "I wasn't thinking that far ahead." He said that a lot, he supposed....thinking ahead wasn't something he did all that often. But he was enjoying his time out here for now. "it's just nice to be able to go out and wander about and such," he added with a sort of shrug. Then he gave her a grin . "And I have you all to myself with is an added bonus," he chuckled.
