Regan was, admittedly a little worried looking when the man... boy... person flopped. So far, they hadn't done anything to be hostile towards them, so she didn't want the person to be hurt or anything. Weeeeell he'd been nocked out. He wasn't going to be particularly responsive to them. She looked over to Tyler with furrowed browse. He wasn't worried. Or concerned, or scared for that matter... actually, he was looking a little intimidating. More so than us usual, anyway. "Okay, okay..." she murmured before moving the dirtied dark blonde hair from the strangers face. He looked worried, even if he wasn't particularly awake. "Can we take him inside... we can't leave him here," she told him quietly.

Tyler kept studying the boy with a gaze that could probably melt metal if he tried hard enough. When Regan spoke he drifted back to the present, then almost looked shocked at what she'd suggested. "You do know that if he got stuck in my trap, that meant he was trying to go into the cabin, right? And now you want to just bring him inside?" He snorted, though Tyler pushed away that feeling and just decided to do what he always did... let Regan make the choices. "Buut I'm sure you're right... so I'll just bring him inside anyway..." Tyler finished, picking up the unconscious person in a single motion and carrying him inside to practically drop the guy on the floor.

Regan furrowed her brows at him before sighing, a frown across her face. "Tyler, I was caught in one of your traps too," she huffed to him. Maybe it was just the idea of another person. Maybe, when this person woke up, he wouldn't try and hurt them... maybe he just needed a bit of a hand. Shelter until he was on his feet enough to get going. She looked to the limp body as Tyler picked him up, and followed him as he wondered into the cabin. If he wanted to hurt them, then they could defend themselves well enough. When he was pretty much dropped on the floor, though, she moved to clip Tyler around the back of the head. "Tyler!" She snapped at him with furrowed brows, then grabbed a pillow before propping it under the strangers head so he at least wasn't laying just on the cold floor. "Go get some water and leave it for him whenever he wakes up. We don't want to scare him when he wakes up," she huffed to him.

Aw Tyler scaring somebody? Not possible he's just a big teddy bear...)) - When Andi snapped at him Tyler flinched away, a couple emotions crossing his face. One was... he looked a little sheepish. "Sorry." He muttered, nodding and going to do the girl's bidding. The other emotions were definetely a lot more complicated, but in the end Tyler knew he deserved it. A tiny look of fear had flashed across along with surprise and a little anger, but they had all cleared quickly. He just got the cup of water, set it down, and went back outside to keep checking the nets. -Darn it Tyler why do you have to ruin everything- Tyler snapped at himself in his mind, ripping down another rotted net and moving onto the next one.

(Hmm maybe a teddy bear for a nightmare, for this dude at least... I can just imagine this poor guy waking up to a death stare from him lmao) . Regan sighed softly to the boy as her gaze flickered over his features. She hadn't meant to upset him at all... and it certainly want her intention to hurt him. By literally smacking him around the back of his head. Well, it wasn't hard, but he didn't deserve that. She had promised him no one would ever hurt him the way his father had - and she absolutely hated that she'd done that to him. He'd kind of gone quiet now. He normally would retaliate at least a little bit, maybe by a flick to the nose or something, so she really did just feel horrible. - oh, Tyler, I didn't mean that - she thought quietly before looking back over to the limp person on the ground. Perhaps she had excited herself with the idea of a on other person, but he did not deserve what she'd just done. She gently squeezed his arm once he'd put the water down, looking up at him with a slightly worried expression. "I'm sorry, I- are you okay?" She then asked quietly to the boy. . The soft murmur of voices rang through the young man's head, piercing his ears awfully. His head was banging, as was the rest of his body... it felt like he'd been chucked off a cliff and onto hard rock ground. Jax, he went by... at least, that was what he could remember. He was tracking an old doe, and that was all that he could remember. His fingers twitched as he slowly came back around... though, it would be nearly impossible to tell. His dirty blonde hair was sticking to the sides of his face, making everything seem... cramped. It was so, incredibly uncomfortable. He'd need to wake up soon... he wasn't sure who he was with or where exactly he was, not now. Edited at June 4, 2023 05:40 PM by Belle

I can't even imagine that. Poor guy... XD)) - Tyler glanced up as Regan spoke, nodding. "I'm fine, I probably deserved it. I should have at least made an effort to put the guy down more... gently." He responded, his voice not holding much emotion. No anger or sadness. "Really, it's fine, don't worry." Tyler offered a small smile before tripping another net, stepping backwards as it flung up, then gave up for that night and walked inside the cabin. He started making new traps out of the nets he did have, winding some sticks in here and there as he sat on the side of the chair. Tyler wanted to be there when that... boy... woke up. -Looks about the same age as me- He thought, casting a slight glance towards the still unconscious figure... though it looked like he may wake up soon.

Regan looked between his eyes for a moment or two before nodding quietly. He didn't deserve it, not at all, and it wasn't a big thing, anyway. She couldn't read him. She didn't know what he was thinking. It did worry her, just a little bit, and she still felt absolutely awful that she'd done that to him. "If you say so..." she whispered to be companion before following him outside to help with the traps somehow. They were inside soon enough... she got the impression he was as worried about this person waking up while neither of them were there as she was. She made some dinner while he sat there, though, still feeling guilty. She made some extra, for the guy, before padding over to gently place the plate on Tyler's lap. "Here you go," she hummed lightly to him. . After a short while of his fingers twitching, the young man finally felt control over his eyes. Thank god... he needed to get out of here. He didn't know who there people were... well, he couldn't see them just yet, either, but he didn't expect them to be particularly friendly. Cold wooden flooring was on his back, and his muscled and bones ached with ever moment passing... yeah, they couldn't be friendly. He finally managed to open his eyes, though... the rest of his body didn't turn on yet, but at least he could stare up at the ceiling for a little while... so he could detect any kind of danger.

Tyler sewed up nets a little more forcefully, stopping whe he saw his hands shaking the tiniest bit. -For pete crying out loud- He thought grumpily, giving up on the net and staring at his dagger for a little bit. Tyler glanced up as Regan set some food down, offering a strained smile and a nod. "Thank you." He said, though he set the plate aside for the time being and went back to sharpening his dagger. He couldn't eat anyway... not while that guy was laying on the floor in front of him. Tyler just about jumped out of his skin and almost smashed through the top of the ceiling as he saw the person's eyes open. He did jump up, which wasn't the best thing since he was holding a now very sharp dagger and a sharp dagger-sharpener. Thankfully Tyler was used to getting startled and good with weapons, so he set the sharpener down and sheathed the dagger. "Awake and alive." Tyler half muttered to himself, glancing at Regan

Regan did worry about Tyler... she still felt awful, and she was just being a bit.. odd now. It was unsettling. She frowned a little bit before gently bumping his side. "I really am sorry," she murmured quietly to him, a frown still heavily across her face... she'd hit him across the head, and she didn't think she'd forgive herself for that. It wasn't alright, not at all, even if he said it was. She looked away, starting to wash up everything she'd used to cook before she heard Tyler's murmure. Her head whipped around, and she gently padded over to the stranger. Yeah... he was awake. She hovered her hand over his eyes, then slowly moved it as the persons eyes followed. "Yeah, alright," she murmured to Tyler before grabbing s bigger pillow, folding it in half before propping the guys head up s little more. He wasn't moving much. He was trying, it seemed like, but he wasn't doing a great job of it. His hand were twitching like he was trying to reacted, but wasn't doing a lot, not really. . Jax sat silently as his eyes darted about. He could hear everything, now... Every little mvoment and sound, it was all in his ears. When a hand propped up infront of him, though, he couldn't help but scoff. -Idiots...- he scoffed bitterly to them. Of course he could see. Still, he followed the hand anyway, before carefully turning his head. He wanted to see his captors, but much to his surprise, they weren't fifty year old men... rather a boy and a girl, more like his age. Well, from what he could tell. His voice sound up, though was whispery and quiet. "Awake and alive," he confirmed, brows punched together as she gained control of the rest of his body.

Tyler nodded at what Regan said, slowing his racing heart and focusing on the guy. Awake. Yaaayy. When Regan swiped her hand above the persons eyes his eyebrows furrowed, and he couldnt help but speak. "I don't think he's blind, I'm guessing it's just shock." Tyler commented rather gruffly, though an amused note crept into his voice. He knew Regan would have some kind of insulting remark. Though, when she put a pillow under the person's head, Tyler's eyebrows un-furrowed and shot up. -Why- He thought. -Just let his head rest on the hard floor, he isn't a king- Tyler's brain mentally snorted. Where had he fallen every time his father hit him? On the hard wood floor. Where had he stayed? On the hard wood floor. When the man spoke Tyler almost yelped. -Holy .. you weren't supposed to wake up so quickly- He thought grumpily. Tyler made sure his dagger was sheathed before leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed, having no part in Regan's *kind assisting*. "Good for you." The words kind of crept out of Tyler's mouth, sounding quite gruff, before he could stop them. -That probably earned me another smack to my poor head. SHUT UP- He thought to himself.
