Sage thought it was a bit random that she'd just popped that in out of nowhere, but it was a bit funny all the same. In a silly kind of way, he supposed. He rested his chin on her leg with a sleepy sigh, more than content with how the day had gone.

Quinn finally felt tired... like really tired, but only because she was content. She let her head rest against the cool stone, closing her eyes and thinking a little. Then Quinn slowly fell asleep, the world going dark.

(haha yeah we have to figure that out lol)

Sage stayed up for a bit after Quinn had fallen asleep, just thinking about everything. He really was very grateful for the girl, and quite happy at how things were turning out. Eventually, her soft breaths lulled him to sleep though, and he slipped into darkness happily.

(Okay Ima just be brave and go ahead with it... it might take a couple posts though)

As the warm light of dawn filtered into the cave Quinn yawned and sat up, glancing down at Sage. Curled up with his head resting on her legs as always. She smiled slightly and started thinking about him... for some reason the past couple days she felt more attached to him then ever. Quinn really did love Sage... and she thought that, even though it was for bad reasons, it was a great thing that they got married. She would love to spend the rest of her life with him.

Sage stayed asleep for a while, maybe another hour or so, before stirring slightly. His eyes fluttered open slowly, and when he saw Quinn a lazy smile formed on his face. "Morning," he hummed lightly before stretching quite like a dog and then settling down again happily.

"Good morning." Quinn smiled, glancing down at Sage. She was currently trying to think of a way to do this... but any way seemed embarrassing and weird. Quinn tipped her head and stared at the water, racking her brain

Sage hummed lightly and rubbed his eyes in an attempt to wake up a little bit, moving his head into a more comfortable position on the girls lap, sort of sprawling out of his normal ball in a lazy manner. He was ok with quiet...if she talked he wouldn't mind, but laying here wasn't bad at all.

-Okay, how do I go about this- Quinn mused in her mind, llooking down at Sage. -Heartfelt speech?- She wondered with a small smile. "Sage... I've been thinking lately." Quinn started, immedietely making a face. "Forget I said that. Anyway, I really do love you.. and I'm very glad we got married, even if it was uncomfortably. I know I've ... " Quinn trailed off, seeming to think. Yeah, that sounded bad. "I'll leave it at that and see how you repspond, eh?" She mused slowly, a chuckle coming out

Sage looked over at the girl when she started talking, cocking his head slightly and raising an eyebrow as she went on. He chuckled lightly when she finished and shook his head in a bit of amusement. "Well, that was.... something," he hummed lightly, still sort of half asleep. "I'm glad too," he finally hummed looking up at Quinn happily. "it was odd at first....but now it all seems so natural," he hummed. "And I love you too. More than I ever thought I'd love anyone," he said simply, shrugging his shoulders a bit.

"Something... thanks. My amazing speech that took me hours on end to think of is dubbed someting." Quinn said sarcastically, chuckling. She listend to what Sage said and nodded, knowing she should save the other half for later... he still looked asleep. Quinn did agree, so she just stayed quiet now.
