Sage laughed softly. "I promise I'll bathe before then," he told her, a joking tone in his voice. He squeaked again and tried to reach over and grab her hand, and they started wrestling a little bit over tickling him, which admittedly was pretty fun. "Well you can mess with my hair then,' he told her, remembering how she'd played with it in the cave and then in the room while they were in that small room. He'd enjoyed it, and he assumed she did too, based off of how often she did it.

Anya rolled her eyes slightly. "You had better bathe." She murmured with a laugh, batting his had away as he went for hers, though when he went for it again she didn't manage. She gave him a grin when he said she could mess about with his hair. "I'll make you look a little less rugged." She chuckled jokingly.

Sage chuckled and left their hands connected loosely once he grabbed her hand. He grinned over at her, then gave her a playful pout. "I thought you liked my ruggedness," he joked, knowing full well she could care less what he looked like as well as he was, well ..... Himself. But hey, he could put up with being a little bit fancy for a bit if it was Anya helping him get ready.

Anya gave him a slight smirk. "Oh, I love your ruggedness, I personally think that it's your best bit... but you know, I don't think any of my family would appruciate it." She chuckled, gently squeazing his hand teasingly. She looked like she remembered something for a moment. "Oh, and best not let my father see you, not until we've gotten you all sorted." She murmured quietly before going to look at their hands, her thumb loosely trailing over the back of it. She glanced back up to his eyes, "He's really going to hate you." She giggled quietly.

Sage gave her a goofy grin. "I'm going to assume that everyone hates me here. Except you, of course." He was used to it...it didn't really bother him. He'd just have to be careful and watch his mouth while he was here ... insulting the royal family was sure to get him killed or thrown in a cell. Which honestly, it would be worth it if it was a good insult, though he doubted Anya would think the same way. But he also knew that politeness wouldnt get him far either ...they'd have to meet him as him, not the 'oh please just don't hurt me' type of person they saw all the time. That was his plan...be respectful, but not act like the people who groveled at the royal families feet. He wasn't going to stoop that low.

Anya gave a grin at his little fave, "Mhm, well, I loove you so it doesn't really matter what anyone else here thinks." She noted with a light flush. She didn't think that she had actually said that to him before... obviously, he would knew that she did, but it was nice to actually say it. Hopefully, him just being himself would be enough for her parents... she liked Sage for who he was, so surely other people would too. But she knew Sage wasn't about trying to get people to like him, but she hoped that wouldn't cause too much of an issue in the future.

Sage gave her a goofy grin, his face heating up again. She was being playful, but he also knew it was genuine. "Well you're enough for me," he chirped. Then he made a face. "though, getting your parents to like me at least a little bit would make things easier for us," he admitted. She had been promised to Luther, that wouldn't change, but if her parents were fine with them visiting, they could still do things together. It would be nice.

Anya nodded slightly. "Well, that's I'm hoping to happen. If they like you, just a little, then maybe they'll be a bit better about me going out to see you... or maybe you could come to me for a change." She murmured with a small smile. She looked around for a moment. "This is normally where Luther stays when he comes. I'm gonna have to find somewhere else for him." She chuckled softly. She didn't know how long Sage was going to stay... or if he would come back again once he left, but it would sure come in handy if most people in the castle liked Sage, especially if he would want to come back. She tilted her head slightly, almost at herself. Had she really just said that she loved him? That wasn't fair, not on Sage. Even though she meant it, and he said she was enough for him, she still had Luther in her future. It didn't matter that she loved Sage, or whatever they had done together, they could never be together. She groaned softly at that thought before letting her head drop off her arm and rest on the pillow in an almost tired way.

Sage chuckled and nodded. He agreed with what she said, all of it. Then he grinned. "So I'm currently stealing your fiance's room?" It hurt to call him her fiance, though it was dampened a bit at the fact that Luther would have to be put somewhere else for a change. And Anya had thought that he was good enough for the same type of room as Luther. And really, that was the best compliment she could give him. ... something that proved she valued him, thought of him as an equal even though he clearly wasn't. He did hope that he could get the queen to act at least respectful to him....to let the two of them be able to see eachother. They could run off like they used to, though maybe just in castle grounds if Anya didn't want any chance of getting kidnapped again.

Anya gave a nod as she gazed up to him. "Seems like it." She giggled slightly, "and I'm not sure how he'd feel about me being on his bed with you." The girl noted teasingly. She didn't feel bad about it... not one bit. And in truth, she didn't think Luther would particularly care. They got along, but he would still go off doing whatever with whoever whenever he so pleased. And that didn't really bother Anya, so why should he care about what she was doing? Well, he didn't. So that was fine. The girl turned her head a little and tilted her face into the crook of his neck. "He doesn't actually care, I dont think." She noted with a laugh.
