The woman gave a small chuckle before shaking her head. "I dunno babe. I used to be smart, now look at me," she huffed dramatically, sort of resting her chin on his shoulder. "I don't know what to say. You've done everything for me for ages, all my smarts must have left," she chuckled playfully before sort of moving to rest her hand lightly on top of his. |

Sage had chuckled lightly in response to her comment, pecking her cheek happily and patting chaos, as the horse had wandered over to say hello by then. He patted the horse lightly, a wide grin still lingering on his face, just glad to be outside and see all the horses. And with Mari here with him, it was even better. She always made it even better. It just made him more determined to make their anniversary even better. |

The woman gave him a big grin after a his little peck, really just happy that she'd had a little bit of affection from her husband. She knew he tried, but she hadn't really had that recently and it was nice... a little hug or peck on the cheek, for some reason it made her so, so happy. She sort of closed her eyes after a moment, enjoying the warmth and comfort of the place. She soon drifted off, though, just so comforted by... well, everything. |

Sage just grinned back at his wife, glad he had enough energy to do things. Especially with tomorrow being their anniversary...it was nice to know he didn't have to just sit around all day, doing nothing for her. He half startled himself when she went limp on his shoulder, thoguh chuckled when he noticed she was asleep there. He leaned against the tree happily, closing his own eyes as he just rested there with her. The kids would be alright |

The woman sort of just slept for a while, really just... tired. She woke up after ten minutes, looking very confused before groaning and sort of burying her nose into his neck. "I'm gonna go get dinner on," she murmured softly to him. "You coming in now or want to stay out a little longer," she murmured softly. She sort of wanted an early night, really just a little bit exhausted |

Sage opened his eyes to look over at Mari when she groaned, giving her a grin and squeezing her gently in a sort of hug before releasing her so she could get up. "Alright," he hummed in response to her comment, cocking his head slightly as he thought about her second comment. It was nice out but it would be dark soon, and he supposed he was tired..."I'll come back now," he mused after a moment or so, reaching over to pat Chaos, who was grazing nearby, goodnight before following Mari back out and down to the house. He was up for an early bedtime...no doubt that's what Mari was thinking too...she looked exhausted. It would hopefully give him more energy for tomorrow. |

The woman gave him a grin and helped him up, wandering inside to start making dinner. It didn't take long for her to get something up for the family, and called them all in to eat, soon enough though they were all done and she'd washed up and settled the kids in bed before moving to get ready for bed herself. Soon enough, though, she was passed out in bed tiredly. |

Sage had wandered along next to his wife slowly, just enjoying taking a sort of walk with her. He slid into the kitchen chair he normally sat at once they got inside, helping with dinner best he could for a bit and then settling down as he waited to greet the kids and such. He cleaned food up while she got the kids settled for bed, and when he came upstairs to get ready to go to bed, he chuckled when he saw she was already asleep. He got ready quickly, silently getting ready before settling down next to her and passing out. |

The woman slept for a long while, and admittedly was asleep a lot longer into the morning than she would have liked. She did eventually wake up, though, and sort of moved to curl up back into Sage. It was safe here, she knew that much. When she thought about it, she hadn't felt unsafe in a long time... it was definately a good thing. She sort of moved to settle down again, eventually going back to sleep for a little while. |

Sage had been more than happy to sleep in, and when he felt Mari move to curl into his chest, he sort of just pressed a half asleep kiss to her head before holding onto her a bit tighter and slipping back off into sleep. It was their anniversary, so they could sleep in if they wanted to. And...it definitely seemed like that was what was going to wind up happening. The kids seemed to still be asleep, so there was that. They were still quiet, thankfully. |
