Noah kept crying. He wanted to reach out and hug her, but he couldnt even move.

She wiped his tears away, cupping his face with her hand. Em was still crying lightly, smiling faintly.

Noah kept crying, his neck still in that neck brace so he couldn't move his head.

She kept wiping his tears away,

"I love you..." he whispered out, voice raspy.

This made her choke out a sob, smiling. "I love you too, do you want anything? Water?" Em asked, grateful he was awake.

"No..." was all he mustered out. He shouldn't talk right now, but he couldn't shake his head in the neck brace.

"Alright, might want it though." Em responded, going to grab a cup of it and set it on the table beside his bed, just incase Noah wanted. It broke her to see him like this, both hospital visits she'd seen of him being bad. The first his attempt to take himself from the world, the second some idoit ramming into his car.

Noah just watched her.
