Sorry, family stuff kept me MIA for a bit...) "Mhm." He hummed in her ear, putting his arms around her shoulders and nuzzling the base of her neck. "How about now?" He teasingly asked.

(Nws! I know how life can be lol. Hope everything is okay) Morgan looked up at him through big eyes when he whispered in her ear, her heart beat skipping a step as she looked over at him. She leaned into his arm just a little, and held a hand softly against the back of his head. "I'm think my neck is incredibly sensitive and you won't stop kissing it," she chuckled softly to him.

He stopped, lifting his head and clearing his throat. "Sorry....My bad..." He said quietly, retreating back to the bed and sitting. He grabbed a nearby textbook and flipped through it

Morgan snickered softly after a moment, clearly amused. She huffed out a breath of complaint and wandered back to the bed to flop down next to him. She glanced at the text book with an amused sort of huff. "I never said to stop," she mused softly, settling down with her head resting lightly on his shoulder.

"It's fine. I get it." He said softly

Morgan rolled her eyes and plucked the textbook from him, moving to pop it onto the side. "Calebbb," she cooed gently after a moment, moving to wrap her arms around him softly.

"Yes, darling?" He asked softly, his eyes searching hers with a blank expression. He placed his hands on her hips and moved to place her in front of him so he could reach her better

Morgan let him move her however he wished, and moved to hold onto his upper arm gently. Her brows punched together at his rather blank expression, and she leaned up to press a light kiss to his lips. "What's up?" She asked softly. It wasn't normal for him to basically ignore her and look at a text book - so she couldn't help but worry she'd upset him.

"Nothing." He lied, his parents flashign through his mind. He would never fully rest easy, even though they were likely never going to bother either him or Morgan for the rest of their lives. His mind wandered, though, and he dreamt sometimes about being unable to protect her.....or himself

Morgan sighed, running her hand softly up and down his forearms. "Caleb, you have to speak to me. You can't just say nothing is wrong when something is clearly not right," she told him gently after a moment or two.
