Dakota got out and went to scoop up Ethan, who was now asleep and clinging to his bear. She smiled and walked inside, putting him to bed and closing the nursery's door. She sighed, tired. She walked to the couch and curled up, pulling out her phone and looking at welders like she had a while ago. "Shit. Prices went up quite a bit..." She commented

Elijah was stirring the hot chocolate. "What's wrong?" He asks from the kitchen.

"Nothing important. Inflation." She murmured, shutting off her phone and getting up

Elijah nods, "whipped cream?" He asks, "also do you want marshmallows?"

"Sure." She said, smiling and getting up. She walked over to Elijah, kissing his cheek. "I was wondering......are you up for some fun later?" She asked, smiling

Elijah smiles, "I always am" he replies putting whipped cream and marshmallows into both of theirs

Dakota smiles slyly before taking a sip of her cocoa

Elijah takes a sip of his own

Dakota leans on him, smiling. She kisses his shoulder before wrapping her arms around him and sighing

Elijah smiles, kissing her head.
