Regan grinned at him when he agreed that she was, in fact, special. She didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing in this case, but she'd take it arms run. "Revenge my ass," she huffed at him before plopping down on the side of the bed, kind of watching the radio from the corner of her eyes... she was half expecting it to go off. To hear a voice, or a fuzzy connection, or something... she really did still want to find her way to maybe another small little group. She then furrowed her brows. "Tyler, yes it is," she mused. "Even if it's not singing, you have a wonderful voice! It's deep and relaxing and I'll say it again, I could easily listen to you talk all day," she mused happily. She then sighed lightly. "What were you wanting to get up to today?"

Tyler rolled his eyes at Regan, shaking his head slightly. "It was fair revenge." He sniffed, though his eyes glittered with the same teasing look he usually had. His brain trailed off again, though when Regan spoke he slowly hauled it back. "Okay okay, I accept your compliment. Thank you." He finally said, raising his hands in defeat. Regan was going to win anyway, and he wasn't going to argue any more. "Well I was thinking about making more traps and checking all the ones around the cabin." Tyler mused. That oughta be fun...

Regan snorted in response to him before shrugging. Well, revenge was revenge and she supposed she couldn't fight him on that. She grinned happily when he accepted her compliment... she knew she could be pushy, and kinda... a lot argumentative, but she also knew that if Tyler wanted to be, then he absolutely would be argumentative too. She was just lucky he was better than she was, she supposed. She nodded in response to him. "Do you need any help?" She asked lightly to the boy. "I can help make out new ones... and I volunteer as tribute to test them out. Though, if it remember correctly your traps normally work wonderfully," she chuckled lightly to the boy. (I'm thinking they 'capture' their next companion lol. If we're were wanting to turn this into a romance still, I think it would be interesting to try the jealously thing. I don't mind who with, and it wouldn't necessarily be a romantic kind of jealousy, but more to make them realise that they actually do get along better than they think lol. At the moment they just seem like they've been friends since they were little aha)

Tyler was already preoccupied on figuring out the safest way to test his traps that usually worked too well. -Uh huh, first Regan got stabbed in the side with a dagger and then I fractured my ribs. Definetely good working traps- He thought grimly, his brain meandering. When Regan spoke Tyler tipped his head with a nod, registering what she said. "You can help if you want, but you are not allowed to test the traps that work way too well." Tyler snorted... he wasn't going to have Regan accidentally get hurt. He stood and proceeded to walk outside, all ready to start the task. - (Sounds great! Yes, they have definetely been acting like... friends... haha. I think I want to try out Tyler getting jealous, because although that isn't his personality now *maybe* he will realize he liked Regan more then he thought lol. Also, with another guy, Tyler is likely to be a lot more territorial. He may *bow down* to Regan, but he would never do that with another man. Do you want to play him or should I? ((Maybe you should just so I'm not arguing with myself XD...)))

Regan groaned when he said she couldn't help to test the traps. Well, it was probably for the better. If she got caught in another trap, she was likely to end up dead, if she was being completely honest. "Ugh, fine..." she huffed to him before padding along outside with him. They just had to make sure the traps he'd made before worked, too. If they got in the way of anything, or had frayed out, then if they did go off, whatever it'd caught would just get out. She glanced around curiously before pouting back at Tyler. "Where are we starting, sir?" She asked teasingly before Looking at a particularly mangled looking old trap. Yeah... they'd have to put some new ones out, too. . (I don't mind dragging the whole friends thing out, I love a good slow burn, but it would be interesting just to see their relationship move forwards a little bit! And, yeah, I think that sounds good. I think Regan would be a bit too welcoming if another girl showed up lmao. She's more likely to get attatched to someone else a bit quicker too, especially if they seem to want more to do with her, so that should work pretty well! It would be fun to see Tyler standing his ground a little bit when it comes to his turf, too. And I can absolutely play the other guy!)

(Sounds great, and slow burn romances can be so fun. With Tyler and Regan, though, you would need a sloth to say *slooooowwww burrrrnnnnn* XD. Maybe when we are checking the traps Tyler hears something in the woods, or something like that) - Tyler shook his head in amusement at Regan's groan. "Sorry I don't want to stab you with another dagger, I know I'm a horrible friend." He commented sarcastically, looking around. "Let's start at the one that obviously needs to be torn down." Tyler answered, staring at a trap that was so frayed it looked like he could touch it and the trap would fall apart. He tripped the trigger and the trap didn't even do anything, so Tyler tore down the old net and set it aside, moving to the next one

(Yeah, that all sounds good! And yeah, I think we would have to be a sloth aha. They do butt heads quite a bit, so I makes sense for this one to be a bit slower. It is obvious that they do care about eachorher in a friendlier way, and would look after one another, but they do need a bit of a nudge lol. If we have this new guy caught in a trap, I'll start playing him from there! Then we can kill him off later on aha) . Regan huffed out another breath at him. "Yeah, you are, absolutely awful," she complained to him before shaking her head. He wasn't, and he knew that, but again, she did enjoy a tease. "Some of us want to be stabbed, Tyler," she joked to the boy before shaking her head lightly to prove the loss of malice. She nodded to him before padding over to the trap to help him take it down... it was probably in the worse state than all the others, and it was closest to the cottage. "Geez, when did you even find the time to put all these out?" She asked with a bit of a chuckle.

(Great!) - Tyler stifled a laugh and just chuckled slightly, gingerly tripping another trap which sprung up lke lightning and almost caught his leg. He jumped back with a huff, glancing at Regan. "Shush. You're disracting me." Tyler joked, she wasn't really... it was a precarious chore. As she spoke again he did laugh, tipping his head. "I had nothing else better to do. Setting traps is fun! Taking them down... not so much." He answered with a smile, going to check another trap. This one was also rotted so Tyler took it down, moving onto the next and letting out a yelp. This trap had already been triggered. There was a man inside. - (Sorry, bit abrupt XD)

(Gonna have him unconscious at first - they can take him inside and have him come around lol. I won't be able yk play him probably for a little bit aha) . Regan huffed at him. "Oh, Tyler, I know? Am I not just ever so distracting?" She teased lightly to him before padding over to press her chest against his with a childish laugh, sticking her face close to his for a moment or two. "Very distracting, indeed," she hummed before going to help with the trap. Well... as long as they were both safe now. She didn't know she'd he'd gotten the time to put them all out, before they left at some point, obviously, but they certainly looked good, like they'd catch something. And, well... she supposed they did, kinda. When the next trap came into view, she wasn't even able to hold back her gasp as another person came into view with it. Oh, gosh... that couldn't be good... could it, not at all. Why were they here? What did they want? Why were they so still? She already had a dagger in her hand as she peered closer, her steps small. Was he dead? No... his eyes were closed, but his lids were still fluttering. "Tyler... I think he's knocked out... or... I dunno..." she trailed off before looking back at him, still a bit lost for what to do. Edited at June 3, 2023 07:37 PM by Belle

That's fine, I was planning that anyway)) - Tyler gazed at the man, registering what he was seeing. Why is he here? Was he trying to hurt us? Was he trying to get into the cabin? How long had he been there? Tyler's first emotion as he glanced at Regan was... hostility. At the man. He finally took action and walked forward, slowly letting the net down. The man flopped onto the ground. Tyler leaned down and felt his pulse before straightening. "Unconscious but alive." He confirmed, staring down at the dirt streaked face.
