Gale grinned when she said she was ready, nodding. "Yup, ready to get back to how it was and forget about. . . you know what I mean." He chuckled, walking over and taking her hand before brushing a finger over her swollen lips with a chuckle. "Guess I kissed you a bit too rough," The man mused, smiling as he lead the way out the doors.

Selene smiled and nodded, understanding very well what he meant. They both knew where they wanted to be and they both had things that they wanted to forget. She giggled quietly as he touched her lips, her smile widening as she gave his hand a little squeeze. "Guess it's a good thing I like when you're being rough," she teased as she followed him, relieved to see that the hall was clear of both Celeste and her father so far. She'd rather not have a run in with either of them before they were able to leave.

Gale laughed at her words, the two eventually walking down the clear hallways to the stable, where he asked for his stallion, Adonis, to be tacked and ready. "Figured we'd take this guy, we'll get there quicker." He noted, hopping on before she got helped behind him, the man telling her to hold on to him. "Might as well, this one will get us there real quick if he runs so, please do hold on. Don't want to have to take you back since you got hurt," He mused, asking the stallion onwards to which Adonis responded by taking off.

"Good thinking," she nodded in agreement, not minding at all. It wasn't a terribly long walk, but she wouldn't pass up the opportunity to ride. Once she was up and behind him, she wrapped her arms securely around his middle to make sure she wouldn't fall off. "Off we go then~" she mused, curling closer as the stallion took off in the direction of the cove. It certainly wouldn't take long at that pace, as the horse tore down through the trails and foliage. Selene made sure she didn't let go, keeping her seat as best she could.

They eventually arrived, Gale slowing Adonis and waiting on Selene to hop off. Once she did, he dismounted, tying one of the stallion's reins to a tree. The man breathed in a huge breath of clean air, and relished in the feeling of security around there. "Finally," He murmured, smiling softly as sweat had already begun to bead on his body from the unrelenting sun. He pulled his tunic and pants off, leaving only his underclothes before setting it all by the pack he had brought, diving into the cool crystal clear water.

Selene got down in a swift motion, patting the stallion before stepping away so that Gale could dismount as well. She took in the view for a few moments before undressing as well, leaving her clothes with his. It was hot, making her all the more eager to jump right in, which she did seconds later, creating a sizable splash. She resurfaced after a moment, pushing her wet hair from her face with a delighted laugh, the cool water heaven against her skin.

Gale stayed under for a moment, the water clean enough you could see under it without having to worry of anything as he swam towards her, surfacing silently behind her before his arms wrapped around her. "Big splash you made," He noted, chuckling as he combed his wet hair back with his fingers. The cool water quickly took away the heat, the sun covered by the forest roof, disguising the cove as nothing.

Selene squealed as he came up behind her, his arms wrapping around her in a way that she loved as she treaded the water to keep herself above. "What can I say? I never was as graceful a diver as you~" she mused, relaxing completely. The pristine water felt great and the relative silence around them was the most peace she had felt in a long time. "It's great to be here again," she sighed, leaning her head back against him.

He chuckled at her words, shaking his head. "You call me graceful? You should see me during drills, the other day I tripped and fell infront of an entire battalion. Not the best for my reputation, y'know?" The man mused, laughing. Gale agreed with her words, nodding. "Definitely, I missed this place more than I can explain." He murmured, looking down at her rest her head against him.

Selene laughed at that imagery in her head, the thought that her giant husband had fell like a tree infront of the others something faintly comical in her mind. "Oh I'm sure of it. I suppose you win some and lose some when it comes to grace," she smiled, her eyes meeting his as he looked down at her. "I thought of coming here while you were away, but.. I was scared it would just make me miss you even more rather than make me feel closer to a piece of you," she admitted as her gaze shifted to watch the sky above.
