Sage had eventually gotten up, though he immediately noticed the note and groaned to himself. At least she left him a note....that meant they were warming up to each other. Or at lest...the idea of each other. He still didn't entirely trust her, he'd seen what she'd done to the guards around her. And she ahd threatened him. But even so, he quickly got dressed and moved to head out to town, following the same path she took before. He found her eventually, and wandered over. "You know you could just knock on my door and drag me out with you," he noted, a slight tone of amusement crossing through his voice.

Elara turned her head from her knife to Sage, offering a small smile. "I could've.But you're always up like, three hourse earlier then me and honestly,it just made sense to leave the note." She ecplained, shrugging her shoulders.

Sage shrugged in response to her comment, the corner of his mouth twitching upwards slightly. "If I could sleep in any more I would," he noted. "But I never know what I certain someone might do." He was clearly teasing her a little bit, sort of just testing the waters of what he could do. She'd left a note, so she'd wanted him there...so maybe they could actually get along after all. Hed like that, he thought....even if she wasn't a friend she wasn't not a friend either.

Elara chuckled softly at his response, still looking out. "True,if either of us could sleep in more we both would."

|
Sage sort of hummed in agreement, looking out at the horizon, following her gaze. "I suppose neither of us can stay in one place very long," he mused after a moment or so. "Something about the wild always seems to be calling out. Feels wrong to just sit around inside and ignore it," he added with a shrug.

Elara listened, nodding in agreement as she started carving into a stick. "Yeah,it's even worse when you're forced to be cooped up inside a castle all day."

Sage nodded along to her comments, knawing on his lip ring as he thought. "What if I brought you around," he suggested. "Go camping, visit other kingdoms and places where they just see you as another young woman shopping for groceries or something," he suggested. Her father would probably be terribly mad, but he didn't really care.

Elara set the stick down and turned to him, face lighting up as he suggested things. "Please, please do.My father will be pissed but I won't give a single damn." She says, smiling softly at him.

Sage couldn't help but grin back at her, something he supposed msot people wouldn't necissarily see out of him very often. "I don't care what your father says," he noted. It probably wan't the best thign about the king, but he doubted she'd care. He certainly didn't. We can camp out in the woods somewhere soon," he noted. "There's a few nice places we can go once the weather warms up a little bit more," he added. Warmer weather makes life in the woods a bit mroe enjoyable. They could settle for that.

Elara's face went to a confused look. "Wait, you actually care about my dump of a father?" She asks, looking at him. "Well, what about your daughter?"
