Morgan looked at the map with a cocked head, her eyes soft as she thought about it all. She'd never been the problem solving type, but she enjoyed doing this sort of thing with her friends. Scarlett map... red map, basically. Maybe there were red things they should be looking at? She didn't know. She let out a soft breath again, her brows pinching together thoughtfully as she tried to figure it all out. She flipped the map over, a soft pout across her face. "I haven't a clue," she huffed, leaning her back into his hand. She tried to listen in to what Josh had been saying to Lyla, but it just seemed like they were trying to rush through it all. The thought amused her, really. |

Caleb chuckled. He listened behind them to the couch and just found they were talking about boring stuff such as school, friends, and parties. He sighed and smiled as she leaned into his hand. He chuckled as a thought occured to him. "Maybe we should look for coordinates somewhere?" He offered, looking at the graph that overlaid the destinations. |

Morgan nodded and sort of starting to wander around, her eyes staying very much peeled. She checked under the table, the couch in the middle, and the walls... though, it did look very much locked. There was a red door opposite the one they'd come in through, so she could only assume that was the door they were trying to get through. Eventually, she found two numbers, one of a slip of paper and the other under the table. "Found something," she chirped lightly. |

Caleb watched her with light adoration in his features. She seemed so determined and focused as she looked around, trying to pick up the slack everyone else left her with. He chuckled lightly when she found something, following her mind all the while. He walked to her and placed his hand on the small of her back, letting her know he was there and able to help more if she wanted. He smiled softly at her and watched as she studied the piece of paper. 9.5 E, 32 N. He looked at them with the smile still on his face. He walked beside her to the map again and found the spot that the paper had said. "Brunneis Fascie" He murmured. "Brown Shelf" He glanced around and his eyes landed on a beat-up looking swhelf in the corner. He swept his gaze over it, hoping it would have another clue, but it only held empty bottles in slots. He cocked his head slightly when he picked them up, feeling a unique shape indented into the bottom of each. He picked two up and glanced at the bottom of them before finding the corresponding slots for the order. He smirked as another stone slid open and revealed another slip of paper. 1953. I made wine and placed it somewhere fine. He chcukled at the poetry, knowing this person was never a true writer to make something so simple. He let his mind overthink, though, and looked around for somewhere someone might keep a special barrel or bottle of wine they may want to hold dear for a long time. |

She smiled to herself at the comfort it brought, even though the pressure of the ticking clock was building. She felt her grin widen when the boy finally found the bottles and the rhyme. There was something so satisfying about watching them all start to work together, their little victories adding up. The others were catching on too, gathering around with a new sense of purpose. The momentum in the room had shifted, and it was contagious. The energy had gone from scattered and unsure to eager and excited. They only had fifteen minutes left, but Morgan didn’t feel the panic creeping in—she felt a rush of excitement instead, like they could actually pull this off. As the others dug into the clues, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of camaraderie. They were in this together, working as one team to escape, and there was something exhilarating about the challenge. It was fun. It was chaotic. But they were so close, and that knowledge fueled her. |

When they finally found themselves outside, saying their goodbyes to the group, Morgan couldn’t help but notice how tired they all seemed, their energy a little drained. She couldn't quite understand why—after all, Caleb had done most of the work, pulling everything together and making sure they stayed on track. He had taken the lead, and yet, it was the others who looked worn out. She chuckled to herself at the thought, then turned to him with a soft smile. "I think they liked you," she mused, her voice low and playful as they made their way back towards her car. "Next time, though, we do something like this just the two of us," she added with a playful giggle, her tone light and teasing. There was a mischievous spark in her eyes, and she couldn’t help but imagine how much more fun it would be, just the two of them, no distractions. The immediate warmth made her relax, and she let out a soft sigh as the cozy temperature spread over her. She sat back in the seat for a moment, her brows raised slightly as she glanced at him, waiting for him to join her. As he climbed in, she hummed thoughtfully, her mind wandering for a moment before she spoke again, her voice light but teasing. “I'd say it still stands. Can’t have you all alone, can we?” she said with a playful smile, pulling out of the parking lot. Her gaze stayed on the road, but her thoughts began to drift a little. It bothered her more than she wanted to admit that he spent so much time alone—she could see how it shaped him, how quiet and withdrawn he could be sometimes. It wasn’t like he wasn’t wonderful, though. If anything, it made her want to draw him out more, to show him that he didn’t have to be alone all the time. She risked a quick glance over at him, her heart giving a small flutter before she returned her focus to the road as they entered her neighborhood. She didn’t want to make him uncomfortable, but the thought of him being by himself for so long didn’t sit right with her. "Just as a warning," she added lightly, a mischievous tone in her voice, “I have two siblings—one brother, one sister. You probably won’t see them or anything, but just in case you get up in the middle of the night for anything, you won’t want to scare the living daylights out of them,” she chuckled, hoping to ease the mood with a little humor. The thought of him getting startled in the middle of the night by her siblings made her smile. "They’re not too bad, though. But just in case," she added with a wink, trying to lighten the mood. Despite her playful tone, she was still mindful of how he might feel in her space. |
